Favourite Mutant: so I went with Molly Hayes from Runaways, but then we discovered Devil Dinosaur is technically a mutant too sooooo….

Molly decided she wanted a dinosaur too :P

I like to think Luna has hired Molly to be Devil Dinosaur’s babysitter when she has to do important lab work and doesn’t need DD getting in the way. It works well because A) Molly is strong enough to handle Devil Dino, and B) Devil Dino and Old lace get along famously.

Marvel March Day 4

Favourite Marvel to show: Runaways!!! ❤️ 

This took about 15 hours of work and i’m completely exhausted at this point, desperate to crash out for the night! I can at leas say that I’ve drawn every member of the Runaways now :)

I… honestly needed to do something special for this one. Runaways means so much to my lovely partner and myself. it’s the first time i’ve felt truly emotionally attached to a television show since 1998. Waiting for season 2, getting all hyped up, the thrill of watching the whole series just before Christmas - it was something I didn’t think I could still feel. I don’t think we’ve ever shipped anything as hard as Deanoru. There are so many amazing, dynamic characters. Runaways is beyond amazing and it was worth every second of work to pay tribute to our favourite marvel tv show

Marvel March day 3: The first Marvel comic I read: umm... Spiderman romancing Mr Lieberman??

So I gotta explain this… it was a tie-in comic to the ultimate Spider-Man cartoon, literally a fortnightly comic aimed at kids rather than a proper comic but we never quite stopped laughing at the comic story inside it. Basically it featured Squirrel Girl and started with Spidey basically telling her that her squirrels were stupid, then they subsequently saved him and he did a major u-turn on the subject and started showing… maybe a little too much interest in them…

In the last panel Squirrel Girl introduces him to Mister Lieberman and - like a grand romantic gesture - spidey drools; “The pleasure is all mine…”

So I may have embellished a little with the bouquet… but we’ve joked about this for the last 4 years so there’s no way that I couldn’t honour this for day 3 of Marvel March

From the first episode of Runaways I was just drawn to her, and the representation that Deanoru gives to affectionate, loving wlw relationships is just so, so important. We love one (1) glowy, floaty alien princess!

- I made a mistake in comic prompts and put favourite team twice. I did check and recheck many times but that one slipped through the net, i’m sorry! Feel free to use one of them for your second favourite team or maybe villainous team!

- if I’ve made any other mistakes, I apologise whole heartedly! This should just all be in good fun though so just enjoy them :)

- feel free to interpret prompts in different ways to suit your own enjoyment of marvel. For example, in the MCU version feel free to stick to focusing on either movies or tv shows, and if you don’t watch any of the tie-in series ignore those questions and pick from another prompt set or add a question you’d personally like to answer instead. Like I said, it’s all in the name of fun

- Marvel March is an art challenge but can be interpreted in any way you choose, you can write your answers or use screenshots or gifs etc. It would just be awesome to see some other people joining in and enjoying the challenge

Marvel March begins TOMORROW!

Get ready to share your love for all things Marvel from tomorrow onwards and join us for the Marvel March challenge! There are three different sets of prompts so you can choose to focus on Marvel comics, the MCU (and other movies/to shows outside of the MCU if you want to include those) or a general marvel set that focuses on both. You can even do more than one or mix and match - it’s your choice :)

You can respond in any way you choose - if you'read an artist you could draw, illustrate, even sculpt your responses. If you' really a writer you could produce a Drabble, a poem or even an essay for every answer. You could choose to use screencaps or gifs. It’s entirely up to you!
