One of my HK/Silksong OCs who plays kinda significant role in my AU. His name is Silgi, and he's sorta head of physiological department in the Soul sanctum. He used to be head surgeon of the hospital in City of Tears but left his position in search for immortality and some of his rather unethical interests. He is one of those mad scientists who are actually interested in their test subjects' wellbeing because of both potential benefits and the fact that he really dislikes violence, and somehow wants to keep at least part of his good reputation.

Ironically, he became a participant in Hornet's experiment as a subject, and the consequence of transplantation of stange organs of demigodess ended as body-horror. Summarizing all the weird stuff with wyrms' ways of "enhancing" creatures under their domains, wyrms can grow extra parts of nerves that can be used to force metamorphosises of common bugs when implanted in common bugs' bodies. This manipulation gives common bugs some physical features like longer abdomen, thicker shell, and the second set of teeth on their head, as well as it gives sorta wyrms' type of immortality, but more limited. It also makes morphed common bugs more vulnerable to wyrms' mind control stuff. BTW, Hornet was interested if Silgi will die or not of this procedure, she didn't know if he would undergo something else

One of my sonas, I'd say something close to fursona. And my fricking chronical disease actually. Cytomegalovirus shaped my childhood and teenage years a lot, and to some extent became part of my identity. I tried to balance humanoidization aspect with features of actual virus, and I feel like I succeed

I finished the ref for this guy just several days ago. He is from my comix and fanfic based on my 9 AU. He's name is Echo, he is created by alchemists of the country where all the plot of the 9 happens in kinda end of medieval times. His purpose is to find and explore caves for potential anything... He likes sleeping, echo from metal things, and dancing. He doesn't like silence, loud noises, and dogs. He "sees" with kinda echolocation.

And talking languages in my arts and refs, there will be some in English and some in Russian (those I'll translate in English)

For some reason, I went deep into the lore of the machinery for soul-manipulation in my AU, so... These things work on certain type of crystals from The Crystal Peak which can attract Souls or shoot "soul-lazer beams" under the influence of some specific in intensity zaps... Mentioned crystals also can store Souls or memories and Dreams.

There are several types of these machines. The first is for sucking the Soul and directing it in special vessels or living recipients invasively. Kinda like blood transfusion but in my AU Soul is sorta otherworldly symbiotic energy. The second type is for sucking Souls without any invasive stuff. They look like sorta lamps for surgeries, and they work like magnets for Souls. The third type is what my two OCs are levitating with on this art. They're like modified version of the second type, and they are used for manipulating Souls flying in the air around to make this concentration more intense or create sorta streams of Souls. This is used mainly for enhancing healing during soul scholars' experiments and so on. But... it is possible to make literal beam-canons of them.

BTW, characters. Meet Septy (blue one) and Agnis (pinkish red one). Head engineers of Soul Sanctum. Septy is Soul Master's niece, and Agnis is one of engineers involved in developing of mining golems and some stuff for trams. These ladies are among the main cast of characters in my fanfic based on my Hollow knight and Silksong AU. (It is in progress now. I'll translate it in English and post on AO3 after finishing)

How the stilkin gathered soul for Groal the Great

we saw groal use soul, and we saw the snail shaman drained dry

however, the snail shaman isn't the stilkin's sole source of soul

"they are not the first who tried to hoard it"

I dont think you can "hoard" from a single guy whose reserves are already running thin

there's corpses wrapped in what I can't really define if it's meant to be cloth or vegetation (although I'll lean towards the latter) (like fucked up tamales) in some areas of their territory, with this secret bench room being full of them

You can open these up to confirm for yourself how they all contain a husk each

these aren't burials, they dont seem worried about proper burial of threspassers

and in that same secret tamales room, there's this tablet

"Their shells are ours. Their souls are ours"

you can find these bags in both the soul hut and this room

now, let's take a good look at those soul bottles, lil marvels as they are

their form suggest they're bottles, the soul within meant to be drank like a flea brew (yum)

but that cloth tightly wrapped around these bottles...isnt that the exact same as the tamale'd corpses? and as the snail shaman?

while this specific snail might be trying to blend in, snail shamans are known to adorn their shells with sources/stores of soul

what I think is going on here is that they wrap the corpses on a cloth made out of lichen or some other absorbent material so it soaks on their soul, then later bind that material to these bottles to get the soul inside

perhaps these bottles arent glass but some other maybe porous material, like eggs or treated glands, allowing the soul to filter through

I imagine the seeker taught this method to the stilkin, only to be betrayed and drained

for fun here's some tidbits from the chapel recipes that sound similar to this method

going back to Groal the Great, it's fun how they have a focusing crest (like soul scholars) made out of a bone mask (like snail shamans)

As a person who two times experienced temporary disability when recovering after surgeries I do want to see the game like this crossover. I do like both of these games, and I think they are good for crossover: The last faith is gothic metrioidvania with plot concentrating on religion and has some cosmic horror elements, The last cargo is surreal metaphor for indoctrination setting in some abstract scary building that looks like weird dream about Soviet huts, flats and not so clean hospitals... Knowing that The last cargo could be about religious indoctrination specifically, it makes them crossover even better.

I do want this hypothetical game be a platformer metrioidvania with lost of mechanics connecting with character's mobility aid. And the combat also should be connected to it because of... well... physics. I've never shooted with a real shotgun while sitting on wheelchair, but I'm sure you should put some kind of stopper not to ride away. And speaking of wheelchair becoming four legs in kinda monster form, mobility aids feel like the extension of the user's body. I think, the plot of the crossover may be a combination of unused things for The last cargo and actual stuff from The last faith. I gonna draw more concepts for this later

Some of my ideas on Pale king's current body in my au. He has two mouths (original in his crown of horns-teeth and new one to eat more like common bugs), he has tree sets of arms (two pairs for work and manipulations and one pair for holding some extra things or seal casting), legs are to look and move more like common bugs (but he prefers slithering instead). He sustains wings in all of the post-rebirth forms, and his wing may be used as weapons because of souls circulating in "blood vessels".

Some more stuff about his character in my au: he is ambiverted, he feels uncomfortable and shy around bugs who see him as god, he considers himself as scientist (and he has a lot of seals about the development of minds of bugs of Hallownest under his rule). He has siblings but most of them live far away from Hallownest (good for bugs of Hallownest BTW). He is non-binary as well as all wyrms in my AU, they use pronouns as they want as well as grammatical gender.

Speaking of his wardrobe... I'll draw it later. And his relatives too

Actually, even nowadays animatronics from FNAF look like futuristic... As you see from this art, this Freddy is from my another AU (this one is crossover of games and books combined with The dovecote on the yellow meadow trilogy and The last cargo game), the peculiarity of animatronics there is the usage of alien technologies. Well, Olds or Withereds are one of the least equipped with it. But they have roller-skates! This was inspired by Chica from Secrets of the Mimic.

I thought, it would be both scary and funny, to see heavy and big robo-bear roller-skating to you with an empty stare.

They used both as attractions and sorta security systems, and night guards' duties would be keeping those things in the building and making sure are patrolling the pizzeria. Their legs aren't capable of moving because of weight, however, their arms are very capable of moving and grabbing.
