This week Doug Ford’s PC’s voted against an NDP motion calling for improved access to cancer drug coverage.

It gets worse. One of the Ontario PC MPP’s (Ross Romano), equated cancer drugs to toys, and ice cream as a way to dismiss them as too costly.

Delegates at their convention just passed a resolution which says Gender Identity is not real and “an Ontario PC government will remove the teaching and promotion of “Gender Identity Theory” from schools and its curriculum”

UPDATE: Now they’re backpeddling a bit saying they will only debate it at their next convention.

Make appointments in person, if you can–make them look you in the eye and explain how they’re gonna sleep at night while enabling the deaths and discrimination of queer youth.

I’m going to go speak to Laurie Fucking Scott (new Minister for Labour) about this complete bullshit this week – if she’s even in her office. (Ha. Right.)

They can drag me out kicking and screaming but I am NOT going to teach their toxic shit in my classroom. Parents can complain all they want, but their kids are going to face the fucking truth inside my four walls. The Ontario teachers I know are not going to back down and let LGBTQ+ kids today go through the shit we did in school. 

If the PC’s really gave a shit about kids and keeping schools safe, they’d worry about how to stop kids turning out like the rapists at St Michael’s rather than stopping kids being educated, learning empathy, and feeling acceptance.
