Jimmy Olsen's age is crazy cause if you assume Batman and Superman have been around for 20 years or so in-universe, he would have to be like 35~36 by now. I can kind of buy Fraction Jimmy as a guy in his 30s who's just naturally baby faced and immature for his age, but then other writers/artists write and draw him like he's 2 decades whole younger than Clark and I lose my mind

i think gord stops using his faux accent when he’s flirting with someone.. or at least with people he actually cares about outside of the preppy clique.

like in that one scene after chapter one, that’s the only time hes seen dropping the accent. i’m telling you he did not care about boxing one bit in that scene🙏

it could be to appear more genuine to people he sees as genuine or more “real” in his words. i think he has a lot of curiosity about the world and other people’s perspectives but obviously has to keep up an appearance with the other preps and live up to the standards set by his family and community.
