Local feral fool wants to write her hecking muses again but also doesnât know if she can balance them or her t i m e
you can go ahead and take a look at my dumb multimuse and see my dumb muses if you want but i donât know if iâm quite declaring it open yet i want to decide on a couple more things first
âUh, anyways...Tropyâs absolutely nuts I donât think Uka Uka understands that he has some feral man as his apparent actual right hand man. Thatâs...not at all a normal reaction to losing a race!â
Sophie listened closely to the Elementals as they spoke, her hand on her chin. If they were as powerful as they claimed to be, then the octoling would have to be very careful with her words if she wanted to get on their good side. And she did want to get on their good side.
âSo from what Iâve gathered, given youâre called the Elementals, and how you lookâŠ.you guys control the elements, aka Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire. Very impressive! Iâve seen similar control over the elements in other dimensions, but every time it always intrigues me. And if you guys are âThe strongest beings on the planetâ as you claim to be, then Iâm in awe of your power.âÂ
Sophie did a little bow as a sign of respect. Normally she would be very sassy, and she considered that for a moment, but right now she needed them all to like her.
âBut anyway, thereâs actually a reason Iâve come to see you. Well, specifically Uka Uka, but having you guys here too is actually better for what I have to say.â
The Elementals were glad that this was someone who knew how to talk to someone much stronger than herself. Someone who was actually smart, and could watch what she was saying to make sure she was talking to them properly. When she mentioned her reason of wanting to see Uka Uka, the four looked at the mask, as if awaiting his response.
Uka Uka was a little surprised by this. What was she going to say to him? If she was someone Tropy considered a friend, it probably wasnât going to be anything bad, but at the same time...he didnât know her. What, was she going to request something of him? Well, only one way to find out. He moved as if he was giving a single nod. âGo ahead. Say what you need to say, the Great Uka Uka will hear you out.â The four other masks turned to look at her again, seemingly wondering what she was going to say.

Uka Uka had actually seen what had happened to set Tropy off like this, but he didnât want to say anything about what it was. He had to admit that Tropy was definitely overreacting, but maybe the doctorâs lie made it look...a little less like an overreaction to an overreaction?
when tropyâs gone n sane on main
âMY LAB ASSISTANTâS DISLOYAL, BRIOâS A TRAITOR, AND EVERYONEâS BEING MEAN TO ME!â
@masksandtheirdoctors continued from here
âWhatever ya say, Lemon Head. And by the way, all Tropyâs told me about you is that youâre short and full of yourselfâŠâŠYep! So far that all checks out!â Sophie then turned to Uka Uka and the Elementals, no longer paying any attention to Cortex.
âAnd you guysâŠ.actually, who are most of you guys? I know the big cool-looking menacing guy is Uka Uka, but Iâve never heard of the rest of you. Sorry if that offends you, Iâm kind of from âout of townâ so I only really know what Tropyâs told me about the inhabitants this world.â
Cortexâs eye twitched. He wanted to say something, but that was when Sophie turned her attention to the masks instead. Clearly, she was going to ignore anything he said at this point. But that wasnât going to stop him from muttering to himself angrily.
Uka Uka took what she said as a compliment. Tropy was definitely telling this strange woman the truth about things, if thatâs how she was speaking to him and Cortex. Excellent. But the Elementals werenât quite as amused by this.
âYouâve never heard of the Elementals? Even if youâre from out of this town or out of this world, youâd think youâd know about the four strongest beings on the planet!â
âWell, to be fair, it may be difficult to explain us to someone whoâs not from around here...my nameâs Lo-Lo! The fiery oneâs Py-Ro- donât mind him, heâs just surprised that you donât know about us, heâs not mad. The other two there are Rok-Ko, and Wa-Wa. Rok-Koâs the confused one, and Wa-Waâs the one who...looks a little annoyed right now for whatever reason, but I wouldnât worry about it. When isnât he annoyed?â
Wa-Wa said nothing, but he was clearly more annoyed than he was before Lo-Lo made that comment.
crystalliizeâ:
She could barely utter a noise before she was blinded by sudden bursts of lights that revealed even more masks. The intimidation factor shot through the roof being in front of them all.
The mood in the air was a mix of high tension, confusion and a touch of rather uncomfy yelling. That was thanks to the water Elemental who was not a fan of this altercation.
She took a deep breath and stepped closer to the water Elemental, hands holding eachother and rested against her stomach.
â I know that you may not have faith in me sir, but I am a woman of my word. â  â I-If you wish to accompany me, I have no objections. â
Wa-Wa was a little surprised by her actually stepping towards him. And her words. She was brave, he had to give her that. After all, most people wouldnât approach a powerful mask that was angered. Well...then was it bravery, or something else?
âI am not coming with you! Why would I do that?! That would be a waste of my-â
Py-Ro gave a bit of a laugh. âActually, Wa-Wa, you are going with her. We canât have her fail us, can we? If sheâs so willing to get us the crystals, shouldnât we make sure she can actually get them for us? And youâre the one whoâs so unsure of her, why donât you go with her and make sure she can do it?â
The water Elemental was quiet again for a moment. Oh, he hated this so much. Py-Ro, always thinking he could just tell them what to do whenever he wanted, and expecting them to do exactly what was asked of them...or else. Or else what?! Water put out fire, the fool!
âAnd why should I?! Why donât you?! Youâre just as capable of helping her if youâre so worried about her! Iâm not your blind little soldier boy, out to do whatever you ask of me just because-â
Py-Ro laughed again, moving as if he was shaking his head. âYou're wasting time, you know- our precious time, and her time. And Uka Ukaâs time...why not just get going? The sooner you go with her and get this over with, the sooner weâll have all of the crystals and the power to do whatever we want...â
Wa-Wa gave an annoyed growl before finally flying right into Py-Roâs face to shout at him. âFINE! Fine, fine, fine FINE!â He flew right over to Techaâs face. âWhere are we going?! WHERE?! Letâs get going RIGHT NOW so we can GET THIS OVER WITH!â
Uka Uka gave a small sigh at all of this. Well, he was going to have to come with to make sure Techa actually would be fine. He didnât think that Wa-Wa was going to put much effort into protecting her, after all, from the way he was acting. Rok-Ko and Lo-Lo were silent, but Rok-Ko was actually a little worried about Wa-Wa- and about Techa. He knew how bad Wa-Wa could get when he was angered, and he hoped things would work out right. Lo-Lo wasnât quite as worried about this all, mostly just hoping that things would work out so they could get the crystals.
"Is it true that the Elementals used to be Witch Doctors, like Aku Aku?" (Chrono-Gen)
âThat is a myth, a simple legend. Our pasts are unimportant- no, whatâs more important is the fun weâve had and will continue to have for a real long time...â
âIâm going to be honest, I personally donât remember too much of our past, so I canât really help you past what Py-Roâs said...â
âOur pasts truly arenât important to anybody else, anyways! Py-Roâs right this time!â
â...maybe. Itâs possible. It was a long time ago. Between the ice age and...everything else weâve caused, remembering that far back is like trying to find something in a blizzard. Extremely difficult.â
crystalliizeâ:
 â E-every crystal?⊠â
That must be a joke, no thatâs impossible- he canât really be asking for every Power Crystal she could get her hands on! Thatâs absurd⊠Completely impossible⊠right?
Such a hefty task was way more than Techa was prepared to take on. Of course she had a few tricks up her sleeves, but her arsenal was only so big. Still, she had a deity sitting in the palm of her hands. If she could do itâŠ
â ⊠Very well. Will I have to inform your other brethren about this? They can accompany me if they so wish. â
She nearly hung her head as she spoke, the hole she had dug out for herself physically felt like it was getting bigger.
This was just precious. Not only did he and his brethren get to laugh at Cortexâs suffering from the nightmares for so long, but now, his poor little assistant was going to have to do this for them. He could tell that she wasnât liking this. That amused the fire Elemental. It was great- either she would end up giving up and he and his brethren could continue giving Cortex nightmares, or she would come through and he and the others would end up with a fine supply of crystals. It was a win-win...for him.
âYou probably should inform them about this. Itâd be easier to explain if youâre the one doing it- Iâm pretty sure Wa-Wa wouldnât understand all of this so easily if he doesnât see for himself whatâs going on. Rok-Ko would probably just be confused, and Lo-Lo...well, heâd probably get it. But hey, I could even bring them all here if youâd like!â
Before either Uka Uka or Techa could answer, there were three flashes of light as the other Elementals appeared. They took a bit to look around, trying to understand what was going on before Wa-Wa spotted Techa.
âAnd who is this woman?! Did you seriously just interrupt what we were doing for this woman?! Whatever sheâs doing couldnât possibly be more important than what we were-â
Py-Ro cut him off before he could continue ranting. âActually, Wa-Wa, itâs a lot more important, it involves the crystals. This kind lady has agreed to get us every crystal she can find if we stop giving Cortex nightmares. Sounds fair, doesnât it?â
âOh? That sounds fine to me!â
âYeah, that sounds pretty good...I think...?â
âDo you really think that this woman can get any crystals?! Look at her! Sheâs never going to be able to get all of them! She-â
Py-Ro laughed. âWhy donât you go with her if you really donât think she can do it? You can see for yourself and make sure that she does it...â
Wa-Wa was silent, but it was obvious he was annoyed. His eyes darted from Py-Ro to Techa, then back to Py-Ro again. He was so livid that he didnât have any words to describe how he felt. Uka Uka didnât say anything as he watched this, but he did have to admit to himself that he was at least a little concerned for Techa, especially with how Wa-Wa was behaving already.
Hey hey, calm down Doc! If you wanna look for your assistant, try in the island jungles. There's something hidden there that she'll be looking for... But she may not be alone.
She may not be alone? Was that a threat? âIs she in danger? Oh, goodnessâŠâ Cortex was trying to figure all of this out, but his thoughts were scrambled. There were so many jungles on the islandsâŠwhat if he was too late? Well, then again, if he just stood there and waited until he knew which jungle, it could be too late. Especially if she wasnât alone. He checked to make sure he had his gun, then hurried over to get his hoverboard. He needed to find herâŠ
Hey Cortex, you... do know your assistant's been working with ahem, some individuals to help you with those nightmares, right? This woman's going great lengths for you.
âShe- she what?â While he was glad to hear that his nightmares may end soon, and that she was willing to go to such lengths for him, he was worried about her. Those laughs at the ends of each nightmare all sounded familiar, and if these individuals were who he thought they were, she could be in great danger. âSheâs- sheâs going to be fine, right? Do I need to find her and help her? Where is she? Where do I even start looking for her?â
"So you're Cortex, huh? Tropy's told me about you. I gotta say...everything he's told me seems pretty true, hehehe...." Sophie snickered to herself as she looked at the yellow scientist.
âOh, great...one of Tropyâs friends...â Cortex shook his head. âI can already guess what heâs told you about me, and let me say right now, none of itâs true. It seems like he has nothing better to do than make things up about me, probably because heâs jealous of me. I canât think of why else he would possibly be thinking about me so often.â
âNo, I mean like, they went back in time and got a dinosaur? And somehow the baby forms of those bandicoots? Theyâre willing to do that to get racers but they wonât-â
âEnough, rockhead! Iâm not particularly thrilled about that, either, you know! You donât need to go on and on about it! I get it already!â
