New Beginnings Are Hard
There will be many days in life when you feel like nothing is going your way. This is one of those weeks for me. I (living in the special bubble that I do) just realized the other day that Meta now steals all public content to feed their AI...and that's very much not okay with me.
So, here I am, trying to find a new home for my project. I'm hoping that Tumblr might be it.
I guess it's time to introduce myself.
You can call me Minx. I've been photographing cemeteries for the last fifteen years or so and my partner and I decided to start a project where we find and photograph every cemetery in Massachusetts. They are some of the oldest cemeteries in the US, like the Old South Cemetery in Chatham, MA.
This is my journey. It's been a wild ride so far! I hope you'll join me in this endless exploration.
A few rules: reblogging my posts is fine and encouraged! Please do not save and use my photos for your own use - I sell copies of my prints with limited rights for reproduction - you can contact me here through Tumblr if that interests you. All photographs are my copyright and are fully protected by copyright law.
That's why I left Insta, after all.
Otherwise, have fun! If you have fun cemetery photographs you'd like to share with me - you can submit them through the ask feature. Please share the cemetery's name and where it is if you know it.
I believe cemeteries are beautiful and sacred places and that we should all visit them more often.
I also offer prints on all of my photographs!
If you live in the US, you can get an 8x8 or 8x10 photo printed by me for $30, including shipping.
I can print in other sizes (up to 20x30 or bigger!), so message me for prices on those!
Some of my images have links to purchase prints through my Kofi - these are high-quality giclee prints made by Art of Where, an awesome print shop that ships worldwide (perfect for international buyers).
Feel free to reach out if there's a print you want and there's not already a link to buy it!
