“Tch.” His hand pulls back. “Fine then, I won’t push.” He has a small smirk on his lips as he disappears. “Since there’s no reason for you to be here, you should go. You know your way out, don’t you?” His voice is coming from no definite source, echoing along the lair.

“Of course, if you can think of something, then maybe I’ll have fun with you, as you say.”

Jack was taken a bit aback by the others sudden change of mind “oh you give up that easily huh? Not even gonna try and talk me into companionship?” he smiled and sat down on the floor “you know.. You could get me alcohol and maybe we could have some adult fun?”

“Alcohol doesn’t effect me like it once did.” Pitch appears behind Jack in an instant. “However I don’t mind having wine once in a while.” A shadowy tendril raises, and it’s holding a bottle of wine. He takes the bottle, and two wine glasses are soon brought out as well.

“Here.” One is offered to the male as Pitch works the bottle open. “Hold out your glass.”

Jack jumped a little and turned around. He looked at the tendrils and took the glass and held it up “well affect or not, isn’t there just something soothing about drinking with a different person?” he walked closer.

Jack had to admit, pitch wasn’t bad looking, biting his lower lip lightly as he watched the man’s hands at work.

Peter- Or now Petra, was currently wearing Jack’s biggest hoodie. It looked so big on her, almost like a dress, and she was currently try to tie her hair as her boyfriend walked in.

She jumped a bit to Jack’s question and smirked.

“Heyyy snowflake,” she said, bouncing over to Jack and pecking his cheek. “I woke up like this! I have long hair, and boobs!” she chuckled taking the groceries from Jack. Luckily, she was still as strong as she was when she was a boy.

Jack carefully took the toddler, holding her with one arm as he watched the woman, feeling his stomach drop. He fucked up. Big time. He knows. And he knows it was going to take a while before he could make it up to Peter.

“Hey.” He reached to grab Peter’s hand, squeezing gently. “I really am sorry. I’ll… I’ll go to therapy, I’ll do whatever I can so something like this never happens again.” He promised, tipping his head so he can look at her sunglasses.

“Please look at me. You did nothing wrong. I love you, I really do, but it’s just way too hard right now. You have to understand that what I went through was really traumatic..” He sighs softly, releasing the other’s hand. “I’m sorry. I’ll… I’ll leave you be.” He looks to Ellie, smiling weakly as the girl grabs his nose and giggles a bit.

Petra didn’t flinch or back away when Jack grabbed her hand, for a moment, she even dared to look up tp him, thinking he’d be fine with that. She stayed silent as he spoke, but her head did lift up as he spoke about therapy.

She’d been thinking that for a while. She knew she couldn’t Jack on her own… But his reaction earlier, awoke other worries in her… Maybe she wasn’t meant to be with jack, not right now at least. She felt so weak and unworthy as a lover, as a husband and now wife. Because she couldn’t help the one she loved the most.

Petra watched the two softly, staying silent as she did. She then moved to the coffee table, and pulled a card out of her jacket. It was the adress and number to a therapist.

“I think it’s the best decision… Help from the outside. You’ll hopefully find yourself. And I know what you mean… I also think you need… Time… To figure everything out.”

She said, while slowly removing her wedding ring from her finger, and placing it next to the card. She then looked back to Jack, and he could see tears silently rolling down her cheeks.

“I want… I want you to figure out what’s best for you… Become the person you can be proud of” she said, quickly moving to Ellie to kiss her forehead, then took her bag. “You can give it back to me when you feel like you are that person.”

Jack turned his head as Peter went to write down a number and address, agreeing to the therapy. He stepped over, before he felt his stomach drop as the ring was pulled off of her finger and set down on the coffee table. He felt like his heart had just been ripped out, and he felt tears welling up in his eyes and starting to fall.

“P-Peter… Wait—“ He chokes, moving to set Ellie down on the bed carefully, before hurrying to take the woman’s hand, stopping her. “Don’t do this, please. I’ve never loved someone more than I love you and Ell, and I’ve never wanted someone so amazing.” He drops to his knees, pressing his forehead against her knuckles as he grips.

“Please don’t leave me.. I hate being alone, and I can’t do this without you. I’ll do anything, anything. Just… please don’t do this.” He chokes, shoulders shaking. If Peter was leaving him, he doesn’t think he could handle being alone. He doesn’t even know if he’d be able to continue on with his life without Peter there to help and support him.

So, downing his drink, he pays his tab and makes his way to the nearest motel to pay for a room for a couple days. He’s out a bit of money, but at this point, he needed to make sure he didn’t upset Peter any more than he has now.

[I’m at a motel. I’ll send the address and room number so you two can come meet me.]

And he does just that.

And in indeed in ten minutes, she was here. She held Ellie in her arms as she moved to the room Jack was staying at.

Petra stopped in front of it, hesitating, and then pulled up her hood and put her sunglasses on. She didn’t want to trigger Jack again.

Ellie didn’t seem to like it as she was constantly trying to play with her mother’s hair. Petra let her do that, and knocked on the door.

“It’s us.”

When he heard the knocking, he made his way to the door and opened it. He sees her, and he’s at least a little glad that she tried to hide her face. He looked to Ellie, and soon stepped aside so that they could come in.

“I’m.. really sorry for this.” He brings his hand up to gently pet Ellie’s hair back. “It’s just... too painful. I promise to make it up to you, okay?” He looks to Peter.

Dahlia giggles softly and follows after the girl, and once they were in the bathroom, she shuts the door behind them and starts to undress, cheeks burning. While they’ve been naked in front of one another plenty of times, she’s always so nervous.
