i don't know much, but if the AO3 comment mentioned a character (melog) by name, then i can't imagine it is a bot...? typically they say the most generic vague things possible that could apply to literally any fic

When the comments are unnecessarily mean (I’ve had them before) and from guest commenters, generally it means a bot.

They’ve been getting smarter with targeting characters in the fics.

There’s a general respect on ao3 with commenters and writers.

Basically if you don’t like a fic or how it goes, don’t comment and move on, no one is forcing anyone to read a fic they don’t want to.

Not everywhere is cat friendly.” Catra tries again to get Melog to move out the way so they can go in without him joining them. Melog tilts his head at her in disbelief, making Catra scoff, “I said cat friendly. I’m a magicat. Totally different species, dude.” Meow “He’s got a point, Cat.” Adora teases, holding back a laugh at the situation unfolding front of her, “Besides, I think Casta will be fine with him being inside.”
