Any Blog Recommendations?

I miss this blog a lot to be honest.

Do you guys know anyone that’s still posting or drawing dream daddy content?? Maybe I can get motivated to do stuff seeing other people make stuff

Dream Daddy was such a genuinely good game and I hated how the drama between data-mined stuff and someone telling someone else to go kill themselves pretty much killed it. I haven’t heard about Dream daddy in years at this point. It was such a good game with good gay rep (even if Joseph was a bit understandably disappointing for christian gays.) and it didn’t deserve to just fade into obscurity like it did. I wish they’d make more games tbh.

Welp, this blog’s a goner.

I had fun doing the edits and reblogging stuff when it was active, but I’ve just kinda ran out of DDADDS content to reblog and have had no drive to make anything of my own.

It makes me sad because I feel like Dream Daddy shouldn’t die like this but with pretty much no new content from the devs themselves its hard to keep things in circulation for this long. It had a great run though.

I officially won’t be posting any more Dream Daddy stuff here though I don’t think. I may come back every once in a blue moon like I have with other blogs I have but yeah the blog’s dead lol.

okay here’s my controversial opinion of the day

it’s okay if the things you like aren’t, like, artistic masterpieces.

not everything has to be deep and full of symbolism and a groundbreaking. it’s okay to just like things because they’re fun or goofy or have characters you really like. it’s honest to god okay to say the things you like are bad, especially since all standards of artistic merit are basically made up anyway.

Oop, forgot to upload this on Tumblr.. Apologies for length but couldn’t make it smaller without killing the quality.

Anyway, I recently played Dream Daddy again and this round I got hit early on by some unexpected but major Alex feels. At this point in his life Russell has long-since come to terms with the loss of his husband and usually handles that old grief well.

But there are times, like when he has that in-game scare over Amanda not responding to his texts, that he slips back into those old memories and finds himself longing for the first love of his life once more.
