The candles correspond to the stripes on the original Starbomb album- and a pink, yellow, and blue star on the cake for Arin, Brian, and Dan 💙
Not a band but HOW could i not… included the gg halftone on the bottom tier (w/ blue candles in place of the logo) and a burger on top for obvious reasons. do 2025 gg fans know of burgie? it has LITERALLY been a decade …

Shadow Academy, The Northern Hues, and Skyhill!
Now we’re getting into the good stuff!
On the far left is a cake inspired by Shadow Academy’s album art- done by the amazing and incredibly talented @artofmaquenda (who also designed the artwork for the second Skyhill album!) As someone who dreams of designing album art I can’t NOT gush about her work if somehow you haven’t checked out her work GO DO THAT NOWWW I also thought it was fitting to give this one a single tier as the second album hasn’t been released yet. crossing my fingers for a Kafka-inspired song though like PLZZZ PLZZZ
All of Dan’s smaller projects are represented as cupcakes, but I think it’s especially fitting for The Eastern Fuse The Western Shoes The Northern Hues!!! As Dan’s first real band I really wanted to portray this one as the start of something great :) it also has six candles to represent the six band members (including Dan) … Especially when it really, truly did not need six. LOL
and here’s the point in which i flex THAT I FUCKING MANAGED TO GET A COPY OF THE NORTHERN HUES’ EP … which i unfortunately do not have on hand atm. and forgot to photograph when I did. so. um.
it did come with these pins though! i’ll be sure to post actual pics of the album (and the rest of my collection ;3) when i’m able. ignore my meaty pink paws LOL
The Skyhill cake was also largely inspired by album art- mostly the first album’s. iirc the Skyhill wolf represents solo artistry- Dan Avidan and Peter Lennox working as an independent musicians without a label. I wanted to keep this cake relatively simple bc of that, but alluded to Dan’s dreams of and eventual rise into stardom w/ the dots of icing on the side 💜 The black and white candles are inspired by the lyrical motifs of light and darkness throughout both albums. Also there’s literally a song titled Black & White but whateverrr. stfu u AND your reprise
