i've put on nail polish for the first time, is it supposed to be so shiny? It's kind of distracting

that's such a great question and i'm so glad that you wrote in.

it's actually true! nail polish can be very shiny, especially for the first time. to stop from getting distracted i have a special technique that works for me. here's the formula i follow: i always make sure to have a cute pair of gloves with me to wear whenever i need to focus on one of my projects. it's a lot of fun to mix and match different colors of gloves with different colors of nail polishes. why not discover new combinations?

that is such good advice! In Germany, gloves are called "hand shoes" so when my nail polish gets too distracting i take off my foot shoes and turn them into hand shoes to cover my nails so i can lock in and focus! It works great! But sometimes if i do that i get distracted by my toenail polish!! So frustrating...

I know this is a joke, and this is tumblr, but do not do this. Preschoolers frequently leak highly flammable fluids. I get that this is the kids-hating website, but throwing lit matches at preschoolers doesn't just hurt them, it hurts all of the surrounding buildings in your community, not to mention yourself and any nearby trees. It's not "punk" to destroy other people's personal or private property, it's just rude.

I want to post this on FB where I have substantially more followers, but the thing is I have no shame putting garbage on the Internet.

If you like it, that's so rad. If you don't, who cares? I'm just a silly little jester throwing silly garbage at the wall. But when it comes to things I put effort into. That I care about and actually mean something to me. Putting these things on the Internet feels like getting flayed alive.
