Matt Moerdock,dont le nom est inspiré de l’avocat aveugle Daredevil, est un artiste du label de production musicale indépendant Outstand. Repéré en 2003 sur Générations 88.2 avec le titre « Sortez des Rangs », alors qu’il était animateur sur l’antenne depuis 1998, il ne tardera pas à se faire un nom dans tout l’hexagone. Il sera diffusé sur les radios, indépendantes pour la plupart, mais fera aussi la une des magazines spécialisés tel que Groove, Rap Mag, ou Radikal. En 2005, Sortez des Rangs sera diffusé sur M6, Fun TV, et MCM et cette même année, arrivera 12ème dans le MTV European Top 20, classé pendant 9 semaines. Son succès fut tel qu’il collabora avec des indépendants français comme étrangers. La collaboration la plus importante à son actif se fera avec le label G.O.O.D Music, label de Kanye West, sur le remix de « Dreaming of your love » de Tony Williams. Bien plus qu’un rappeur, Matt Moerdock c’est aussi un ancien danseur, animateur d’ateliers Rap & Slam ou encore photographe. Riche d’un style très varié, Matt Moerdock s’inspire de nombreux artistes français et américains de différents styles (Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Wu Tang, Rakim, Sizzla, Tarrus Riley, Mc Solaar, Iam,) sans pour autant copier leur style. Ses productions dépendent de ses humeurs artistiques, aime-t-il dire. Matt Moerdock fut le premier artiste indépendant à distribuer ses disques en kiosques et auprès de marchands de journaux. 2012, c'est l'année de son retour sur la scène française après plusieurs années à parcourir les scènes européennes et américaines. Il revient présenter "Bienvenue à Hell's Kitchen", un nouvel opus scinglant de vérités et de thèmes plus personnels.

I have spent 2 weeks with this amazing Lady Monk in Thailand. She taught me how to meditate and how to focus. Through discussions, I've had the chance to learn how to separate the Mind from the body and become me again. I just became the powerful energy I used to be. Unbreakable. Undefeated. Me.
I was 100m away when she gave me a sign asking me to come to her. I can't what energy made me go to her. She asked me to sit next to her by pulling strongly my arm and I felt an incredible energy from this 89 years old lady. I sat down, and she asked me to eat with her. She couldn't speak any English. I started eating and we were looking at each others smiling and eating. She asked her friends to join us. And for 1h, I was there, at Ma Due Wan temple, eating and smiling. Then one of her son came and he could translate. He said she was telling everyone that I was her son! I told him "look we all know it's not true" He said "Well, I'm just translating". I explained that I already have a mother. She said she has 5 daughters and all of them are already married so the only way for her to be my mother is me to say that she is my mother. So I said well Ok I'm your son. So she smiled and everyone approved it and she said you can call me Mee (mum). I called her Mee. She smiled and we kept on eating and making photos. Po (dad) next to her joined us and I had one amazing afternoon in the temple and prayed with the monks. Few days after I woke with the idea to go and visit Mee. I decided to print the pictures and have them plastified to bring them to her as a present. Once I got to the temple, there were like a 100 persons. When Mee saw me, she smiled. She started introducing me to more people as her son. I felt incredibly good. When I gave her the pictures she was soooo happy and showed them to everyone saying that I did them. I started talking with one of her daughter in law from the Netherlands and she explained that since Mee met me, she speaks about me everyday and she knew that I was coming today. I was like "wait! How come? 1h ago I didn't know I was coming". She said "well, Mee knew it". So I asked "why are all these people here? What's happening?" She was just surprised I didn't know. She said: "mee's grand son has passed away and we are here for the funeral. Mee and family stay at the temple 7days that's why she is here.
