Alberto Vargas - 1940’s illustration of movie star Linda Darnell. The master at work sketching out his illustration of the popular movie star from the 1940’s. I love the elegance of the dress painted in the illustration. Linda Darnell played in the movie “The Mark of Zorro” in 1940 which launched her stardom. Vargas painted many of the most beautiful actresses of the time. Darnell was used in several of his paintings over time.
