Here is the cover art for an indie novel I am currently writing called "The Two Headed Tier: Genetic Circus."

The story follows two enemies, Jack Keegan (left) and Ruki Izumi (right) after they are fused together into a chimera tiger body. They are prisoners inside a whimsical yet off-putting circus filled with human-animal genetic hybrids and other monstrous chimeras. Will Jack and Ruki manage to escape the circus and avoid the Ringmaster's watchful eyes? Or will they succumb to their newfound animalistic hunger?

I've seen your novel Unity's Eden on tiktok and my mom even said she'll buy me the book THIS FRIDAY!!!!! I just wanna say your book and art is absolutely amazing and it's really inspiring me to make my own dystopian sci-fi kinda book :3 is there any tips you have to writing in general??

Hello! Thank you for your interest in Unity's Eden. I wish you luck with your own novel writing.

Here is some advice for you as you get started with your novel (based on my personal experience and writing preferences):

Write all your ideas down in a junk document dedicated to notes. This is before your first draft, so you have at least some loose skeleton to follow as you craft your first draft.

Your first draft is going to be shit. It's part of the process for every author. Trust the process, and don't be afraid to to try again if something isn't working. Your first draft is something to build upon. It is not a final copy by any means.

Do NOT skimp out on editing! Always get another set of eyes on your document to catch errors that you are blind to. Also be sure to get alpha / beta readers if you can, or share it with a critique group.

Constructive feedback is your friend, and taking it and maturing as a writer will only get you further. Learn to differentiate not-so-great advice from genuine helpful criticism.

Research! If you are covering a topic in your work that you are unfamiliar with, I recommend doing research so you understand what you're writing about.

DO NOT USE AI!

Those are some of my tips! Every writer has a different process, and all are valid. Don't be down on yourself when comparing your work to other authors. Every piece is unique and deserves a place within the world.

Here is a drawing I did of one of the characters in my debut indie web novel trilogy "Unity's Eden." This character, Eli the octet sapien, appears in the 2nd book in the series. He is a gentle and kind character who is soft spoken and nurturing, a great friend and partner to the protagonist Kiko the hexapod sapien.

Octet sapiens are an original species unique to the "Unity's Eden" universe. They large and have eight arms and muscular bodies, being heavily inspired by dogs, bears, and spiders. Each octet sapien has a distinctly canine appearance, with many resembling dogs. Eli's design was inspired by pitbulls.

Writing sample from my debut web novel "Unity's Eden."

The ship rattled as heavy footsteps thundered across the metal floor. A gargantuan frame emerged from beneath the blanket of shadow, a hulking monstrous creature with uneven limbs and towering legs. A being built of pure rippling strength, clothed in dark and fitted camouflage. He ducked down as he stepped from the cargo hold of the hovercraft, his head swung low as he emerged into the foggy sunlight. His youthful brown skin was tattered and torn; immense scarring slashed across over half of his body. Cuts, scabs, burns, sutures; yet nothing was strong enough to kill him. A massive silver cybernetic arm was fused with his body, custom fit and borrowed from the largest, most lethal of battle androids. A marionette wielding weaponry, a hybrid of muscle and machine, perfectly programmed to do whatever he was commanded. All he had was the dog tag that dangled from his neck, bearing only one word:

Kaleva.

“It is interesting that you would make such a statement so openly, Senator Patil. Must you be reminded of the tragedy that the Union experienced nearly a century ago? The rebellion and mutiny of sentient artificial intelligence was as catastrophic as it was preventable. These technologies that you place your faith in are unpredictable and dangerous, capable of defying orders and going rogue. While I agree with your positive stance regarding GENENDURE’s life-saving treatments against previously fatal disease and conditions, my concern is placed in your complete blind trust in technologies that could so easily advance far past human control, the creation of something else entirely. The A.I. rebellion was detrimental, Senator Patil. Millions of lives were lost, and the infrastructure of the Union nearly collapsed, a technological disaster that nearly set human civilization back decades. We are presently amongst these very same circumstances. Technology with such infinite potential must be carefully controlled and placed under rigorous protocol, with creation placed below creator, as to not repeat the same cataclysmic mistakes of our forefathers."

Who is Mr. Victor Argon?

Mr. Argon is a minor antagonist in my debut indie novel series "Unity's Eden." He is Kal Finnigan's (the antihero protagonist of book 1) shitty boss.

He is a washed up jazz singer turned sleazy crime boss. After his fall from fame, Mr. Argon turned to a life of crime to maintain his luxurious lifestyle and expensive anti-aging treatments. Even after being out of the limelight for over 100 years, he still has an inflated ego and a grandiose sense of self. He has a love for all things expensive and flashy.
