With the new Potter series trailer coming out tomorrow, just a reminder.
1. Rowling is a piece of shit who explicitly uses her profits from the franchise to fund her campaigns to curtail the rights and livelihoods of some of the most vulnerable and disenfranchised in society.
2. The Potter books are *not* as good as you remember them being (see video).
what's that one thing where they asked how ripely from alien was so realistic and believable as a female character in scifi for once and they were like "well we just took the dude from the original script and made him a girl and changed nothing else. it works bc men and women are the same?" and people were like "woah no way" and then didn't learn anything from that for 20 years

A guy who used to be in my Italian class part owns one of the best bakeries in Brum.
They do weekly competition on Thursdays, leaving a voucher for a coffee and cake somewhere in the city centre.
Usually the this is half way across town, but today it was just a 5 minute walk from the office.
