Gladio was in desperate need of some answers. Heâd only just arrived in this city â hell, he didnât even know the name of this place â and he was already feeling lost. Give the man a purpose, a mission, and heâd be able to go through with it and do a damn good job, but right now he was feeling a little directionless. It didnât help that he didnât know anyone here and there seemed to be people from countries and worlds heâd never heard of before.
What could this all mean?
Gladio wasnât stupid, not even a little â he just generally left the scheming, plotting, and problem solving up to Ignis, so he was at a loss. He was more the âhit them with a sword until they stop being a problemâ sort of guy.
Lost in his thoughts, he almost didnât hear when he was addressed. âHuh..?â he frowned, then gave the other man a smile. âOh, yeah. I actually donât have any idea where we are. IâŚâ he trailed off, putting his finger to his lips in thought before continuing. âYouâre new here, too?â
Though it hadnât quite hit him yet, Leon would soon be in the same boat. Not the champion, no Galar, no Battle Tower for him to lead, what would he do here? Heâd have no purpose, no direction. For now, he was just trying to figure out where he was and how to get to this apartment they said he had. Maybe find the Pokemon that had brought him here.Â
This guy seemed reliable enough. The energy he radiated reminded him sort of of Kabu, someone probably older than him who had to have more of an idea of what going on than he did. However, when he gets the answer, his shoulders slump.
âOh, so you donât know either. Hah, I guess weâre both really lost then.â
âYeah, I just kinda woke up here, and my Pokemon had devolved into a Charmander, and this doesnât look like Galar, at least Iâm pretty sure itâs not...â
