Had a very weird dream where I was reading your fic and there was a part where Charlie was trying to start the steps to. Embalm? Maxwell in Nightmare Fuel. Or maybe encase, or cocoon? She could only do it a little at a time and it mostly seemed to work like extreme night terrors on Maxwell? Something to do with the whole "Ancients peeled off their skin/shed their skin when they used too much fuel" thing. Idk.
