✦ Everything takes place following the events of the Age of Ultron movie, so 2015 and after, according to the MCU timeline. 

✦ I like to use their canon birth years. Natasha’s is 1984 and Wanda’s is 1989. Natasha is about 30-31 and Wanda is about 25-26 when they meet.

✦ After Sokovia, Wanda joins the Avengers and moves into their new compound in New York.

✦ Natasha is assigned to train Wanda in hand-to-hand combat. Their relationship is a little tense at first, but they slowly open up to each other and develop a romantic relationship.

✦ I like to think of the Avengers as a sort of happy extended family, so Captain America: Civil War and the following movies don’t take place (except Black Widow).

✦ About a year into Wanda and Natasha’s relationship, Natasha receives vials of serum and Yelena’s half of a photobooth strip from their childhood. (It’s sent to the Avengers compound rather than the Norway safehouse.) Natasha decides to go to Europe to track down her sister. Wanda wants to go with her, but she understands why Natasha wants to do this alone.

✦ While Natasha is in Europe and the events of Black Widow take place, the events of the Hawkeye series simultaneously play out in New York. Natasha reunites with Yelena, and Clint teams up with Kate. The only difference is that Yelena isn’t sent to kill Clint.

✦ Natasha brings Yelena back to the Avengers compound once they've destroyed the Red Room. Clint brings Kate after they defeat the Tracksuit Mafia.

✦ Kate and Yelena move into the compound (Yelena being Nat’s sister and Kate assuming the Hawkeye mantle since Clint is semi-retired and mainly lives with his family on their farm).

✦ Kate and Yelena start a romantic relationship. I'm going with Yelena's canon birth year, 1989. Kate's canon birth year is 2002, but in my fics, it's 1993. (I made the change so she is 22-23 when the Hawkeye events take place in 2016ish in my AU.)

✦ There’s no real “threats” at this point. No Thanos, no snap, no one dying. 

✦ Melina occasionally sends info to Natasha and Yelena when a Widow pops up on her radar and they go on missions to free them from mind control. Sometimes Wanda and Kate come along.

✦ Other than that, they mostly live the calm, domestic lives they all deserve!!

✦ I'm imagining this Wanda with this Natasha & this Kate with this Yelena in case you were wondering <3

✦ I’m going to be honest… I haven’t seen all the marvel movies so most of my fics focus on Natasha, Wanda, Yelena, and Kate. Sometimes I mention Clint, Tony, Steve, and Vision, but I'm not familiar with the other MCU characters.

✦ I am a lesbian and I write f/f relationships. Sometimes I mention Clint/Laura or Tony/Pepper for plot purposes, but only in passing.

✦I write angst and fluff, angst with a happy ending, occasionally f/f smut, hurt/comfort, slice of life, etc. I am a sucker for happy endings!! I don't write g!p, m/m smut, or f/m smut.

✦ I only post on Tumblr and my AO3 account. If you find my work anywhere else, please let me know so I can report it stolen.

i think people are misunderstanding what a “mean femme” is supposed to mean because no it’s not attractive or funny to be mean to butches/studs/mascs and talk about us like we’re ugly, dumb and think being the femme means you are allowed to talk to me however way you want to

i don’t know where the confusion happened but ummmm no i’m not going to allow someone to yell at me or treat me mean just bc i’m the butch and can “handle it”

“mean femmes” are supposed to be mean to those who are being lesbophobic/mean to butches/transphobic/etc. it doesn’t mean verbally abuse butch lesbians

i see this so often and it really irritates me so many people including other lesbians are just so mean to gnc lesbians

i love femmes don’t get me wrong but some femmes i see seriously are just mean towards us ESPECIALLY if they aren’t attracted to butches

maybe some people like that level of attitude or maybe i am sensitive but butches can be sensitive too
