Injured lover HC
•As Nya and Zane worked their way to stabilize your heartbeat and your breathing, Lloyd hid in his room. Locking everyone out.
•The rest tried to coax him to come out, but he never replied to a single word to them. So, they leave him alone. Gave him space.
•For the first time, he cried to sleep that night. If you even call 2 hours sleep. He cried out of guilt of not protecting you, not arriving to your side faster. He was scared of losing another person he loves. He never cried this much before.
•When Nya told him he could finally visit, he didn't leave your side. Not even for a minute.
•You slept for weeks, and not once had he left unless it was for the bathroom or on missions.
The day you woke up, Lloyd refused to let you get up. He'd bring your meals to you, spoon feed you, and still stay with you.
Even after your recovery, every mission made him watch you like a hawk. He partnered you up with him without another word, and after every fight he'll go to check up on you.
When he knew you were able to fight properly again or when he realized he was being too much, he'll start to calm down.
"SOME People only like Harumi because they ship llorumi!"
"This doesn't stop at Harumi, even female characters across other fandoms are only liked if they're shipped with a man"
"They don't care that it's an abusive relationship because some parts of the internet normalized it and thought it was chemistry"
"Most of the time you can't see fan art of them because most of the content you'll see of female characters are the ship they have and not just a character"
Ninjago Au but tlnm characters are the series cast being reincarnated.
(A/N: just pretend dragons rising doesn't exist for now, also I haven't watched the ninjago movie and I refused to do so. The characters—other than Lloyd—pmo so bad😭)
Everyone knew Garmadon and Wu were immortals and had lived for several years. Maybe even a millennium.
Garmadon watched as Misako, his wife, his love, the mother of his son, died of old age. She spent her last moments with him, with their son, and everyone who was dear to her. She died peacefully in her sleep holding the hand of her son as her heart slowly stopped beating.
How they wished it stopped there. As he grew older, Lloyd, too, followed suit. Garmadon didn't feel like a villain during the time his son grew older. He felt like his son's father, not enemy. He watched as his hair turned grey, he watched as his son's young face slowly turned wrinkly. He thought he was immortal like him, like his brother. But it seemed his human side was much stronger.
As centuries passed, Wu watched his students grow old, their children taking their places. Descendant after descendant, Wu watched. He taught them like how he did with his first few students. He watched them come and go, until no one entered through the monastery door.
Ninjago City changed, peace was restored as no one dared to ruin it, the ninja's name lived throughout history.
As time passed, they eventually reunited.
Garmadon saw her again. Misako, but in this life—Koko. It was a strange idea. Him believing a random woman was his late wife being reincarnated. But, he still believed it. His mind couldn't believe it, but his heart surely did.
They had a son, Lloyd. Still the same blond hair, the familiar green eyes—the same one that looked at him with anger, admiration, love, fear. He was back in his arms once more. But of course, the green ninja would still defeat Lord Garmadon. Even if during a new lifetime.
Unlike Pixal, Zane's old, scraped up, body was found. He was rebuilt, but his code was unfortunately reprogrammed. His old code was not up to date, and the ones who rebuilt him had difficulties. So, they had no other choice but to change it. The titanium ninja's story was old, often mistaken as a legend of some kind. And when the two mechanics had the chance to show the world that the stories were true, then, all hope was lost. Instead, they reprogrammed him to be their son. Someone who could live as a normal, teenage boy. A "boy" with no memory of his previous ones.
Kai and Nya were reincarnated as twins. But nothing really changed. Their—new—parents named them after old stories their grandmother used to tell. The fire and water Ninja—Kai and Nya.
Jay was raised as a sheltered kid. He was homeschooled until he was a junior. The reason for him growing up shy. His parents were both famous actors, so he was raised rich with limitless access to everything he wanted.
Cole's parents were musicians. Growing up, he'd be with them as they produced album after album. A self explanation on his love for old music.
Even with these new lives, Wu would always find them. He recruited them again, taught them, revived the 'Ninja', the elemental masters were known once more.
His family came back to him. Even if it took years to do so.
(did this at 2:40am, so this might not make any sense)
I'm not sure if it's okay to request the same thing from multiple writers, I haven't been on Tumblr for too long but I just love seeing everyone's take on one of my favorite tropes🥹
With that being said, may I please request Cole x fem!reader in which she shares his love food and actually enjoys his cooking too? I remember in season one the other ninja weren't too fond of it and I find the thought of at least one person really enjoying it super sweet🥹 like she can't get enough of it and it makes him super happy ❤️🩹
dw, it's okay to request the same thing. Especially to an underrated character like Cole🫶
Warnings: mentions of death, pet names (love), no use of y/n
A/N: I tried my best, this is the first time I've written for other characters that isn't Lloyd so it might not be that accurate. :/
Cooking with love
As a child, Cole loved watching his mother work her way in the kitchen flawlessly. Every night, Cole would help his mother in small ways; slice vegetables, get ingredients from the pantry—the simple stuff. At just the right moment, his dad would arrive back from home and they would sit around the table as they ate the warm meal Lilly prepared with her love.
As the years flew by, the atmosphere changed the moment Lilly passed. Cole felt the absence of the familiar warmth in their home, the slow music where Lou and Lilly would dance to wasn't heard in the background anymore—the once happy and loving home was gone. Dead. Something that died with Lilly.
It was already midnight, Lou still wasn't home. Cole was alone, and from that day on, he knew he would have to take care of himself. Cole worked his way into the kitchen, trying to imitate the way his mother did—flawless. Perfect.
But instead of Lilly's delightful, warm, simple but delicious soup; his was burnt, distasteful, but it was something to fill his stomach instead of going to sleep hungry.
-------
From the day you joined the ninja team after the tournaments of elements, Zane was, and the only cook in the team. Nya said that Cole used to cook but stopped when everyone preferred Zane's. It was something about the way his meals are sometimes burnt to a crisp, undercooked, overcooked, or something was just wrong. You asked once and never questioned it again.
When you were the one who cooked dinner for the first time and not Zane, Cole immediately fell in love after taking his first bite of your signature meal. He fell in love with you, too, of course. Ever since that day, he would accompany you in the kitchen, watching you the same way he watched Lilly. You didn't push him away, instead you two talked, you two made jokes, there wasn't a day where he wasn't by your side as you cooked meals. That's how your relationship began to blossom into something more. And you two eventually became official.
One day, after hours of patrolling around Ninjago City, the sun was already setting. Everyone was tired, even Zane. You all sat in the living room, watching a random movie Lloyd picked. You looked around, and noticed a certain ninja's absence.
"Guys, where's Cole?" The movie paused, and everyone looked at you.
"Yeah," Kai spoke, looking around the room, "where is he?"
"Oh no, did we leave him by the bank!?" Jay exclaimed.
"Guys, calm down," said Lloyd, "I'm sure he's around here at the monastery. Maybe in his room?"
The conversation was cut short by the sound of the door sliding open. There stood Cole, holding two trays of bowls.
"Anyone hungry?" Cole grinned at his friends. "I made a batch of my mom's special creamy, beefy stew!"
Everyone froze in place as Cole stood in front of the tv, placing the two trays on the coffee table. The excuses started coming in.
"I'm not hungry at the moment,"
"I'm actually on a diet,"
"I already ate,"
"Nindroids don't need to eat all the time and—"
"I'm good,"
"It's not like I'm starving right now—" Jay was interrupted by his stomach growling, "I'm allergic to beef...?" He forced a smile.
Cole let out a sigh, his shoulders slumped. He took the trays back into his hand and started walking towards the door. Your heart swelled at the look on his face, and before he could leave, you stood up without thinking properly. "I'll taste it, love!" That made Cole stop, slowly turning back to face you with a small surprise on his face.
"Really?" You nodded.
The rest of the team looked at you like you wanted a death wish or worried for your health afterwards.
"Are you sure?" Nya whispered,
"100 percent..." You whispered back.
You stepped closer to your boyfriend, each step felt cautious, your hands shook with hesitation as you reached for a bowl. But the smile on your boyfriend's face will make it worth it... you hope.
The moment you tasted it, it was surprisingly good, heavenly even. Without realization, you devoured the stew like you haven't eaten in days.
You managed to like it clean, Cole held a laugh from the sight of your messy face. Not once in your relationship had he seen you like that.
"I'm guessing you like it—"
"Do you have more!?"
"I have a pot full more!"
----
You, Cole, and the rest of the team sat around the table—your laugh, your chatter, the rare moment like this was enough to make your day. Cole's hand slid under the table, reaching its way to hold yours. You turned to face him, you noticed the soft, familiar smile plastered on his face, and you smiled back.
"Y'know..." he turned his head to look at the team chatting and laughing with one another. "This gives off some major deja vu."
"How come" You asked,
"When I was little, it was always like this—mom cooks, dad comes home, and we talk like the world was silent and we were the only ones who were loud." His smile turned into a small frown, "but when mom started to become sick, she was having difficulties walking and dad had to stay home for a while to take care of her..." You felt his hand squeeze yours, "but now... I'm glad I can bring that feeling back, and all it took was a piece of her," he turned to face you once more, "and you."
Your eyes widened, you felt your cheeks burning slightly, but Cole wasn't done talking.
"Thank you, for trusting me. For being with me from the start." He held both of your hands, "I don't think I can go on without you in my life..." You can feel your heart throb as he said those words. It felt real.
It was real.
What seems like forever, you two finally noticed the team's silence. Cole and You looked at them, and they were looking at both of you.
"Go on," said Jay, followed by Kai, "just pretend we're not here."
"Yeah, we're not gonna do that."

A/N: Hope you enjoyed reading this, this was so fun to make and if you do enjoy this or my style of writing, feel free to send in your x reader requests!
Lloyd fans are getting fed in this fandom almost 24/7, so here's my underrated queen—Pixal🩷
Mechanic!reader x Pixal Borg HC
(for my pixal fan mootie @yunalxc 🩷 and advance apology if I didn't get her character right🙏)
When she first became Samurai X, she told you first. Secrets aren't a thing in your relationship.
You would always fix her if she's ever damaged after an intense battle during a mission.
Dates are simple most of the time. It would just be a candle lit dinner by your home, slow dancing in the living, and cuddling by watching tv.
Even though she was built with metal with no human heart, she's still the person who can understand you better.
She can repair herself if she's ever damaged. But letting you repair her instead, makes her feel loved and cared for. And because she prefers you by her side.
You two build mech and vehicles for the ninja together, it usually takes more time to get it all done by your constant banters.
Very protective when it comes to your health.
Often forced you to go to bed. You aren't a nindroid like her, unlike her, you are more prone to being sick than she does. That's why she mostly finishes your projects for you.
She can carry you with little to no effort no matter what size you are. She's made out of titanium, metal, and other heavy parts on the inside, if anything, you can't carry her.
A good listener. Always listen to you whenever you vent out your frustrations, and if you ever need advice or solutions, she'll give you several possibilities.
She judges you if you ever do something stupid. How can her partner be smart and dumb at the same time?
She's never afraid to criticize you if you ever did something wrong. If you're wrong, you're wrong. There's no fighting back.
I just realized how awesome it would be for Garmadon and Misako to both be villains.
In another Au: When the venom fully consumed Garmadon, he asked her to rule Ninjago beside him and Misako agreed. Then, they both realized their son was the prophecied green ninja and enrolled him at Darkly's. Not because they wouldn't accept their son being good, but because they couldn't stand fighting their son one day. And guess what? They're still the best parents despite being evil. On holidays, like Christmas or Halloween, their kind of family bonding is ruining it for others but not in the way that would hurt them. Misako refused to hurt anyone in front of their boy, and Garmadon knew and he just followed what she said. Happy wife, happy life. But since no one can escape destiny, Lloyd was still discovered to be the green ninja by Wu and Garmadon and Misako had no choice but to let it happen since the secret was out.
Misako's POV is just her choosing her son's side and has been researching the island of darkness, but at the same time helping her husband out and making sure he actually makes good decisions 😭 She just hoped neither of them are getting departed anytime soon.

I admit, as much as I like her, Misako's character is badly written. From the early season (pre s8 and onwards) there are some scenes of her I couldn't stand, mostly the wusako scenes. So, here is a list of what I would change to her character if *I* wrote her, or/also her relationship with Garmadon, Wu, and Lloyd. This only consists of her in s1-7. This is NOT Misako slander btw
Pre-s1
would send Lloyd occasional letters, hinting that his mother is somewhere out there.
she would be shown looking worried when she found out her son had been kicked out from school and is now somewhere out there.
Missing posters of him are seen in the backgrounds. Clearly put up by Misako.
S2
She would still meet Lloyd the same way, she noticed he grew older and grew concerned, unlike the original, where she just brushed it off.
Lloyd wouldn't forgive her that easily, and she knew she had to work for his forgiveness. And so, she did. He also wouldn't call her mom that easily. Yes, she's his mother, but he has the right to be mad.
Wusako would be one-sided, with Wu still having romantic feelings towards her while Misako still sees him as one of her closest friends.
In the island of darkness, Lloyd and Misako will have a little moment. Lloyd is still mad that she left him at Darkly's of all places.
Misako told him the truth. There, she explained taking care of him while researching everything about the green ninja, the island of darkness, and how she could prevent him from having that destiny. Her white hair came from stress, not her growing old.
Lloyd understood her, though not fully forgiving her, but was willing to give her a chance.
Misako still loves Garmadon whether or not he's human or an oni. That's why she's not reciprocating Wu's feelings even if he was a better option in other people's eyes.
S3
Her and Garmadon would have small, romantic scenes together. Not just her being sidelined again.
She would still give Nya the advice of "listen to what her heart wants" or something like that. But, again, she won't say that she was in that situation before because, again, she never liked wu that way.
Her relationship with Lloyd improves slightly. He's starting to become more affectionate with her and is able to let his guard down.
S4
When the letter thing was revealed, she didn't feel betrayed, but slightly doubted if their relationship was based on manipulation or if he actually loves her. Before he went, she confronted him. Garmadon admits to it, but still speaks his love for her and he wishes their faith would be different. (I love doomed Garmasako, I need them back.)
Her grief would be shown by the fact that she lost her husband once more, and that their family was once again incomplete.
But she stayed strong, for her son, and for her husband.
Her and Lloyd will, again, have another heart-to-heart conversation.
s5
First to notice Lloyd acting off, and not himself. Like, that's her son, she literally birthed, of course she would know if something's wrong.
She would also have a small redemption arc like Garmadon after his good side was revived.
S6-7
It would still be the same, but without romantic wusako. (I'm pretty sure you guys can already tell I don't like that ship.)
By this time, Lloyd had fully forgiven her and had started calling her mom.
It's literally not that hard to give a female character a proper redemption arc. Also, these are just surface level changes.
Misako gained dementia before the merge started, and it only got worse after the event that caused the merge. For days, weeks, months, years, or how long she'd been wandering around searching for something she doesn't even remember, she finally arrived in Ninjago City. As Lloyd just finished off saving Lobbo from causing some minor incident, he spotted his mother. He ran to her, like how he did years back when he needed her.
"Mom!" He exclaimed with joy, wrapping his arms around her. "I can't believe you're here, I've been looking everywhere for you..."
She didn't hug him back, instead pushed him away.
Lloyd looked back at her, confused. "Mom? Is something wrong?"
"I'm sorry, young man, you must've been confusing me for someone else... I—I don't know you." She looked at him, apologetically.
His eyes widened, "wha—mom. It's me—Lloyd! Your son?"
"I'm sorry, but, I don't know you..."
Lloyd felt his heart break once more, tears were starting to glisten in his eyes but he stayed strong. Maybe this is just a joke. No... he knew his mother wouldn't joke about something like this.
"But I do have a son..." Misako softly spoke, Lloyd met her eyes again. "What do you remember about him?"
"He's smaller—like he's only by my hip tall—and he's a very chaotic little boy, always wearing this black jacket and I saw him paint a ribcage on it. When I asked him about it, he said that so the people can fear him like his father." Lloyd listened carefully to her words, a small grin appeared when he noticed the way she spoke so joyful about him.
After much more convincing, he finally brought her to the monastery. Zane had figured that she might've had dementia and he was right. For days, Lloyd showed pictures of them, or Garmadon with the photo album she once had shown him tucked away in his room.
Even though her brain couldn't remember this version of her beloved son, her heart still swelled with the familiar pride as she listened to his victories.
"Are you sure you aren't over feeding him, Misako...?"
Wu looked closer at the sleeping baby in his brother's arms, with a hint of concern.
"Nonsense," Misako waved him off, "Lloyd here looks perfectly fine. Isn't that right, dear?"
"Don't listen to her, darling. He's just jealous he doesn't have an adorable baby, like ours." Garmadon retorted, earning a small chuckle from his wife. Wu gave him an unamused look, but before he could say anything, Garmadon shot him a look that said "don't even think about it."
"Anyways, I'm going to bring Lloyd back to bed, you two just spend time together." She leaned closer, pressing a kiss on her husband's cheek before taking the baby from him. As Misako left them together, Garmadon pulled his brother close.
"I agree, my son is fat. She is under the impression she's under feeding him because she keeps seeing babies much bigger than him." He whispered to his brother, "so don't even think about mentioning it and hurting her feelings." He warned. Wu didn't reply, and just nodded.
(Years later)
"Oh...wow." Lloyd stared at the baby pictures once more. He could hear the rest of the team(mostly Kai and Jay) holding in their laughs and giggles.
"Oh wow, indeed..." Misako muttered, "your uncle was right, maybe I over did it. You looked like your father when he was a baby—"
"Can we see!?" Jay interrupted. Misako chuckled and went back to her room.
Every time a new character is introduced to be nothing but a love interest to the ninja team (ex: Pixal, Skylor, Misako, Akita, Harumi(crystalized), Frak) Cole and Zane will have less and less screen time
Everyone hated the Jay, Nya, and Cole love triangle in season 3. So did I. It was unnecessary to the plot and made no sense whatsoever, I understand that.
But the one thing I don't understand is how people pin the blame on Nya.
"Oh but she ruined Jay and Cole's friendship"
"She played with both of their feelings"
"She was cheating on Jay"
The only thing that Nya did was explore her options. She wanted to see if the machine was right with Cole being her perfect match.
First of all, she did not ruin their friendship. Jay was the one who started fighting Cole when he overheard Pixal saying that Cole was Nya's perfect match.
Second, yes, I do agree that she played with their feelings and that she was wrong with doing that.
Third, they had one date. It was never stated whether they started dating. She liked Jay back, but they never were in a relationship until Skybound, but before that, they were just crushing.
Jay was the one who started fighting Cole, making them ruin their friendship until tournaments of elements. But yet, Nya takes the blame for that.
Even though ninjago also consists of female fans, there are still some misogyny in the way people treat female characters. Wyldfyre is hated for "being annoying" even though Kai had once acted like that when he was young, Sora was hated on simply for being a new ninja, and Euphrasia was hated by THOSE Morro fans simply because she was the new elemental masted of wind.
