*Squeee!!!* I was able to not only able to give my Gale-Inspired Villanelle to Tim Downie, but he also took the time to read it there and said it was beautiful!

I was not expecting any of that! And to make it even better we got to talking about books and even provided me with some recommendations that I am ecstatic to find and read!

It has already been said, but deserves saying again, Tim Downie is truly a very kind and wonderful individual - and it was an honour to meet him! And to thank him tenfold for the lovely reading recs and charming quote he wrote on the autograph!

(Tim very kindly gave hid permission for his reaction to be filmed, and my fantastic best friend kindly filmed the whole thing for me - and I do apologise that I ended up chatting with him about personal libraries during your signing with him, even after you said you found it all hilarious.

Spoke you of love’s fragility,

Focus on pleasure, devoid of loyalty,

Yet, I still thought myself below your majesty,

A servant, spoke endearment verbosely, proud and naïve.

With vacant eyes, poison spews forth once more,
