I have a therapy letter. Now I'm waiting for my pcp appointment and anxious. Talking to doctors always feels scary and impersonal so we'll see how this goes.

The further i'm getting into all of this, the more sure I am. Lets just hope things work out in this appointment so i can get a surgery consult scheduled next week. Surgery is most likely a year away still (good, it works with my life to have it so far out) but I will get to feel comfortable in my skin 🤟

I had a dream last night that I had top surgery. It was strange and full of weird dream, but part of it made me not want to wake up.

I was in a hospital bed and the surgeon was trying to tell me something about issues with my incisions. I kept having this conversation and time passed. Finally I looked down and saw a flat chest under bandages.

Everything slowed down and I felt so much relief and love for my body- something I don't know if I've ever felt in my life. It was the craziest feeling and made whatever weird issues my brain was making up melt away.

I woke up, of course, without having had top surgery. But, I only have confidence in my decision to pursue surgery and can't help but wonder more about hrt. I get really caught up in the what-if's when it comes to medically transitioning. What if I am even more uncomfortable and can't go back? What if I made the wrong choice?

I'm so sure in my choices and in my identity now 😌

True Henry update: I have an appointment to get a letter for top surgery!!! I know the actual surgery is still probably a solid year or two in the future, but I'm still excited!

Hrt is still a want, but i have my own mental hangups about it in terms of changes I'd love and others I'm not sure about. Top surgery has been a dream since I realized it was a Thing in middle school. I've felt chest dysphoria since I woke up on the first day of school for 4th grade and a bra was on top of my laid out clothes. I still remember the discomfort and embarrassment I felt while my friends at the time were jealous.

I cant wait to cut this shit off. I can't wait to feel at home in my body again 🧡

There's something so beautiful about trans man and trans woman friendships. My good friend and I had very opposite upbringings and current identities, but we also share so much?

My cage was her dream and vice versa.

the next time somebody tries to do that whole powerscaling whose puberty is worse thing and over-glorifying estrogen, I'm gonna start explaining the mechanisms of fibroids, endometriosis (1 in 10! 1 in 10 people who undergo estrogenic puberty will develop endometriosis), adenomyosis, etc. because there's no way in hell that you're telling me estrogenic puberty is "less bad" than androgenic puberty when estrogenic puberty frequently results in a disease that highly resembles fucking cancer

I'm a big guy. And I like thinking of myself as a fat dude. However my afab, pre-T body gained most of this weight in my hips.

Any exercise tips on how to reduce all of that?

I'm hella working out my arms n shoulders and I walk tons. I get legs in but not nearly as much as I should. Same with core... I might've answered my own question, but the huge hips n ass have got to go 😔🤟🏻
