This is based on my personal tarot interpretation. Please view it all with a dose of skepticism and for entertainment purposes.
This reading is a bit difficult. Tarot is a language of archetypes, not a metric system. For example, the Empress card is not an excerpt from a birth certificate.
"The Empress" at 20: a girl who became a mother early or carries her family/business on her shoulders. She has tired but wise eyes. Physically young, energetically a "mother."
"The Empress" at 45: a woman who has preserved her beauty but wields power through gentleness.
It's hard to interpret energy as age. Even if the cards show mature energy, a younger person can still have a mature energy. Then should we consider purely physical age? What if the person doesn't care? Often, when talking about age, they mean appearance, physicality, and face.
Sunghoon
The Moon + Four of Wands (+ Seven of Pentacles at the bottom).
Energetically older. Physically — any age.
The Moon says: "I don't always understand why I'm drawn to such people, but it's stronger than me." In the context of partner choice, the Moon often projects the archetype of the Mother or the Wise Woman. This isn't necessarily a woman with wrinkles. His erotic or romantic imagination doesn't picture a brief, passionate fling, but rather immediate integration into a family circle, a cozy dinner, and shared domestic life. Younger people (immature, flighty) subconsciously don't fit into this fantasy.
I'd say he's also attracted to older girls, or peers with a very mature inner core. Immaturity scares or tires him.
He looks at a potential partner and thinks: "What will we build in five years? What common fruits will we have? Am I wasting my time?"
The Seven of Pentacles absolutely cannot stand superficiality. A girl who is "scatterbrained" and just wants to party simply won't pass this internal filter.
But here's an interesting point. Even if he consciously seeks an older, wiser woman, in reality, he gets hooked by immature, young girls who skillfully pretend to be adults.
How it looks: A girl might be 5–7 years younger, but she's an orphan, or became a mother early herself, or is a career woman. She's actually younger, but energetically older.
Life will keep offering him young girls with a wounded maturity complex, because it's precisely that difficult cocktail of "youth + burden of responsibility" that excites him.
He doesn't just need a girl who's older on paper. Age is secondary here; inner fatigue with games and readiness for stability are primary. If that depth appears in a 20-year-old girl, he'll choose her. If in a 30-year-old, he'll choose her. But statistically in Tarot, such wisdom is still more often found in those who are slightly older or the same age.
He doesn't like overly open, "plastic" faces. He's captivated by depth in the eyes, a certain paleness or detachment in the gaze. It's not a face that screams age, but there's no childish naivety in it. Even if a girl is 22, she must have the eyes of someone who has seen dreams scarier than reality.
He physically can't stand "glamour." He likes pale skin, etc. Young "cheerleaders" are visually empty space to him. He'll look at a girl who's 20 but looks 28 due to a gloomy charm — and he'll physically want her.
· If you put a girl with the "college cheerleader" look next to a girl with the "sleep-deprived artist drinking tea on a windowsill" look, Sunghoon will choose the second one, even if she's 10 years older.
Girls with the energy of these cards are rarely "yesterday's schoolgirls." He needs a personality with history and experience.
Heeseung
Emperor + Strength (+ 5 of Swords bottom)
Hard to say about Heeseung.
Energetically — definitely older.
From the cards for Heeseung, a very clear picture emerges: attraction to strength, but with an important subtext of avoiding pain. He's attracted to older girls (or younger ones with an unbending, "masculine" core). But with an important caveat: he's attracted to them only as long as they don't try to "break" him in a conflict.
He's aroused by those who cannot be bent.
A girl who has her own territory, her own truth, her own throne. Young girls rarely possess the aura of the Emperor, unless they grew up in such conditions.
Heeseung is drawn to a woman before whom he himself is ready to bow his head, even though he himself, judging by the Emperor card, is a leader. He's bored with those who immediately agree and look at him with adoring eyes (the behavior of younger/inexperienced ones). He needs someone who says, "No, it will be my way," but says it gently, with a smile. And such behavior is a privilege of age and experience.
On a subconscious level, Heeseung is afraid of a situation where a woman defeats him with glee. If a younger, capricious girl gets into a fight, she'll throw hysterics, screams, a desire to hurt as much as possible. Heeseung won't tolerate that. He retreats into stubborn defense or retaliatory cruelty.
He's aroused by the physicality of a mature woman. A young, soft, pliable body doesn't impress him. He needs the physical texture of a "woman," not a "girl."
That's why he's drawn to those who are wiser, because in conflict they don't kick someone when they're down, but allow them to save face.
Heeseung is attracted not so much by the age on the passport, but by the level of inner discipline.
He'll test a girl for a long time: "Won't you morally hit me when I open up?" Younger ones usually fail this test due to emotional immaturity. Older ones pass it.
Ni-ki
The Empress + Ten of Wands (+ Priestess at the bottom).
The face of a mature woman showing traces of responsibility. Ni-ki isn't attracted to a "doll-like" face.
Energy — mature.
Age filter: Yes. He's unlikely to look at a much younger girl — she won't pass the Empress test externally or internally.
He's attracted to older girls (by age or inner status). Interest in younger ones is either absent or seen as a waste of energy. The scale definitely tips toward older, or at least peers who are very "weighed down by life." This isn't a young nymph; it's a woman who is a mistress, a mother, a boss, or simply someone who "does everything herself." Ni-ki is attracted to girls who "hold everything together." They might be slightly older because they already carry that burden (children from a first marriage, a business, sick relatives, a mortgage). They don't flutter about (like younger ones); they work hard. And that's their magnetism.
Important: This rules out interest in frivolous, young girls. A "dandelion" girl simply won't trigger a reaction in him. His unconscious seeks solid ground, a foundation, not wind.
He likes girls who remain silent about the main things but see right through him. This is a trait that only comes with experience. Young girls are often either too open or don't know how to keep a pause or a secret.
He might also like peers who have gone through significant life experience that has made them older inside.
His eye seeks a feminine but defined body, mature facial features, traces of fatigue or experience. A young "nymphet" simply won't trigger a physical reaction — she'll seem like a "child" to him.
Jungwon
King of Cups + 3 of Wands (+ 4 of Swords bottom)
There's not even a hint of youthful maximalism or a hunt for youth here.
Energetically, he's attracted to older girls (or peers with experience in mature relationships and equal to him in energy). Interest in younger ones is extremely low, as they bring chaos, which Jungwon avoids with every fiber of his being. He chooses a partner not for a Friday party, but for sailing together into the future. Any girl who brings drama, mind games, jealousy, or hyperactivity into his life will be rejected by his subconscious on an immune-system level. Unfortunately, youth is often associated with that volcano of passions. An introvert or extrovert who knows when to be quiet.
Energetic requirement: Emotional intelligence and the ability to wait.
Age filter: Strict, but based on demeanor, not a passport. If a 20-year-old looks and acts like a life-worn sage, he won't distinguish her from a 40-year-old. But statistically, such faces belong to older women.
Conclusion on age: Older in terms of worldview. Appearance and physicality are secondary.
Sunoo
Six of Cups + Eight of Cups (+ Queen of Wands at the bottom).
The dynamic here is clear: on the surface — a pull toward youth and cuteness; but deep down — a thirst for mature, fiery passion.
Physical type (appearance): Dual. With his eyes, he admires young, delicate, doll-like faces.
Energetic requirement: Older than him.
He quickly gets bored with "cuteness" and leaves for passionate, experienced women.
Age filter: Complicated. He might start dating a younger girl (because she's pretty), but leave her for an older one (because she's more interesting).
Conclusion on age: Physically — he glances at younger ones. He stays with older ones.
So physically, 100% younger (visually).
With his eyes, he'll fall for youth. He likes fresh faces, "childish" pouty lips, a naive look. He's captivated by the physical type of the "dandelion student."
BUT! His body wants a younger girl, but his soul will run away to an older one after a month.
It seems to him that he likes younger or infantile "cuties." But in reality, his soul leaves them for older women (or those internally much more mature and temperamental).
Young girls give Sunoo a feeling of security and tenderness, as if returning him to a carefree past. But he quickly gets bored. There's not enough fire, depth, challenge.
He's attracted to younger girls aesthetically. He can admire their freshness. But when it comes to a real soul connection, he feels emptiness and leaves in search of a more powerful source of emotion.
So who will he ultimately choose?
An older or same-age girl with the wild temperament of a young girl.
She might be 30+, but more energetic than 20-year-olds. She has a business/creative work, can speak her mind sharply, then passionately make up. She won't baby him. She'll ignite him.
What captivates him: Her elusiveness. The Six of Cups captivates with availability. The Queen of Wands captivates because she's always busy with her own "flame," and Sunoo has to chase her.
Jake
7 of Swords + The Hermit (+ 8 of Wands bottom)
Jake is attracted to older girls (by inner world or experience) who behave like younger ones (lighthearted and spontaneous). Or the opposite: he looks for a younger girl who will look up to him as a teacher.
Let's break down the logic of this paradox.
7sword. This is the card of avoidance. In the context of partner choice, it means: "I don't want to be controlled, have plans made for me, or be asked to account for myself." This is classic behavior of a man who fears clingy, intrusive relationships. Often, it's young girls (or peers) who try to "tie down" a man. Jake runs from such girls.
Plus, he's attracted to depth, which is rarely found at age 20.
Jake looks for a woman who won't pressure him. He wants a relationship that feels like a solitary walk together in silence, but with the option to take French leave at any moment.
Who is that? An older girl who's busy with her own life, or a younger girl who's very self-sufficient and doesn't "burden" him with domesticity.
However, the Hermit tips the scales toward older women.
Jake fears fast, serious relationships, but actually craves them. He wants to be fallen in love with instantly, passionately, at first sight. That's his inner contradiction.
Given this internal conflict, he's attracted to a rare type:
He's also captivated by a girl's inaccessibility to society, but accessibility to him alone.
Jake wants to be found, ignited, and left alone all at the same time.
Physical type: An unremarkable, ordinary girl. Quiet in public, a volcano in private.
Age filter: Almost absent. He doesn't care. The main thing is not clingy. A younger but calm girl works. An older but hysterical girl doesn't.
Conclusion on age: Doesn't matter.
Jay
3 of Wands + 10 of Wands (+ 4 of Wands bottom)
There's not much to say about him. Here, it's 100% older by all parameters.
It's hard to say about age, but he is physically attracted to women with pronounced bone structure, a figure, nice bust and hips, or thin but wiry. He doesn't like petite or chubby girls.
Visual turn-offs for him:
· A round, "childish" face.
· Overly smooth, "glassy" skin without pores.
· Coy, mincing gestures.
Passport age is secondary, but the body and face must be "adult," with traces of gravity and experience. Young, carefree flesh is simply visually uninteresting to him.
Energetic requirement: Also older.
Age filter: Shifted toward "older." Physically, he's unlikely to look twice at a schoolgirl.
