buddie secret relationship but it's by accident. they just forget to tell the others and since they're buck and eddie, they don't notice the shift in their dynamic. bobby knows, of course, because they had to tell him, and they think the others know too because, even though they try to keep it professional at the station, it's not like they're hiding it. meanwhile, the others bet on when buddie will get together and start to meddle to make it happen and win the money. buck and eddie are confused at first but then they realize the others really don't know they're already together and decide to have a little fun on their own with that. they have a bet on who will figure out about their relationship first and how long it will take them, and act like they're oblivious to everything whenever the others try to intervene. bobby knows about both bets and just doesn't say anything because, even though he will forever deny it, he's having fun with the whole situation.
