"Yeah~! He made me a song called Love Logic~ It was so cute~!" Come to think about it, it sounded a lot like that one… Nekomimi Switch… But she loved it anyway. "He was really nice, and we had a lot of fun recording the song~"

"What are your favorite songs you’ve done? I liked singing that one, and Lies and Stuffed Animals—that’s the one with Dixie Flatline—and… Oh! I did one with Utata-P too~! that one was cool, too~ The title was really long though… And the mothy song was creepy! But I did have a lot of fun with it~!"

       {|G|}—   “Ahhh how cool.” she continued to listen intently, as if she was being told the secret to the worlds greatest carrotcake, Mayu was so lucky.  She was so lucky a new release and already so known and making amazing songs with people like Dixie Flatline. “Yea, yea, Mothy’s stuff getting really crazy sometimes.” she grinned remembering back when she worked with him. “Mine though…I guess I really like that one I did with monaca factor comet than again Lady Face is really fun to do too.” It was hard to think of just one, anyone could probably agree to that. Each song being good in its own way.

"Ah~! Sorry I worried you~" The girl grinned. "I was just wondering what book that is you’re checking out~ It looks neat~!"

She had her arms full of books too, not only with a stack of pastel-colored fantasy books and—were there some horror novels in that pile?—but also with a stuffed rabbit.

She had said nothing about the recording studio. After all, that’s pretty normal for her, too. It’s as if she had mentioned a trip to the store.

Immediately, she recognized the other, too. "And with that cute bow, you must be Rin-chan~ Funny to meet you here~" Mayu grinned. "How are you~?"

"Ooh, sounds creepy~" She liked creepy things like that. At least, sometimes she did, but at the same time it seemed really scary. ‘Good thing they said it was just make believe… It wouldn’t be good if there was really—’

But that thought was cut short when she realized what Treat had said.

"…I was…?" Mayu did not understand at all. Nobody had ever said anything about that, so she couldn’t have been pretending to act that way. She didn’t even remember ever being like that! But if she wasn’t pretending, that would mean she was really like that…

She wasn’t like that at all… was she?

"What do you mean…?"

Trick smiled, surprisingly friendly. It wasn’t quite as warm as the glowing grin he would have bestowed on Treat, but it was decidedly more friendly than the smirk usually given to potential victims. “Ah, Miss Mayu, you have nothing to worry about.”

Chiming in, Treat giggled. “Not that you’d worry about something like that~!”

Trick glanced to his sister, as if looking for confirmation. In truth, he already had a good idea of what Treat was going to say. He was just doing it for Mayu’s sake.

"Hmmm, there’s nothing wrong with being like that!" Treat sipped at her tea calmly. "After all, Trick loves me and would do anything to protect me, yeah? And I love him, too! So really, we’re sort of yandere, too, huh?”

"Ahhh, but we lack the jealous tendencies, dear sister."

"Hm. Yeah, I guess!" Treat went back to her tea, seemingly unbothered.

She tilted her head, still genuinely confused. "But... you said... I was made to act that way...? I don't understand... Nobody ever said anything about that... and I doubt they would make anyone like that... Even if they did, wouldn't I know...?" She was trying to work this out in her mind.

Well…since my anxiety has crept back without warning, I figured I just draw some of my thoughts down…Personally I understand that some people truly do not mind reassuring a friend who has self doubt on the brain, but I can’t help having it circle my mind as often as it does. Wish it would stop honestly. It just feels like empty space that I try too hard to fill.

It’s not like I could do anything… I’m just me… I wouldn’t hurt anyone…" She almost seemed concerned for a moment, but that melted away into giggles as she made Usano Mimi ‘act tough’ (if that was even possible for a stuffed rabbit with hearts all over to do!) before pulling her into a hug. "She’s an even better friend, though~" And that was certainly a thing Mayu wanted, even needed, in her lonely room.

"Wait… What’s ‘yandere’? I don’t think I’ve heard that before…"
