Hey guys i just wanted to let yall know that i’m kind of done with this blog. Shocker considering the tons of content i share ik. Since graduating from highschool and the start of this presidential administration i’ve lost a lot of my passion and drive. Most days i come home from work and doom scroll before going to bed to do the same thing again. Its rare i pick up a pencil to draw and when i do my arm cramps due to an injury from work.

I feel my life has really gotten out of my control and it terrifies me. The only people i see regularly are my coworkers and parents (with my bf on the weekend) and my friends rarely ever text me back or text me first.

I might come online sometimes to talk to a few friends, but i can’t promise much else. Idk if this post is even productive for me to post, but if anyone wanted an answer to my hiatus this is it for now.

One of the best ones I saw was a thing noting that every single one of the few survivors of suicide jumps off of the Golden Gate Bridge realized, on the way down, that the problems they were killing themselves over actually were fixable or could be worked through...except for the now - extremely unfixable - problem of gravity.

Went to the Holocaust Museum in DC once. There was a video interview of an Auschwitz survivor who said he and some other prisoners stayed up all night with a man who wanted to kill himself. The man didn’t kill himself and survived to liberation.

In the video the survivor said “Never seek a permanent solution to a temporary problem. And they’re all temporary problems.”

Hearing that from a guy who survived the Holocaust rewired my brain a little bit.

I think something a lot of people don't understand is that depression is not suicidality, and suicidality is not depression. People can, and are, depressed without being suicidal, and sometimes suicidality peaks as people are emerging from depression. Suicidality is a wave, and the trick is to allow that wave to crest and subside WITHOUT acting on it. Whatever it takes to ride it out. For some people that's distraction, like watching television. For others it's calling a friend -- not to talk about the suicidality, but just to talk. For others it could be as simple as going to sit in a coffee shop or library, because the presence of other people is a huge diminisher of suicide risk. That's what suicide safety planning is about. It's like having any other type of emergency plan, like a plan for fire or evacuation. It's making a plan when you are in the frame of mind to do so, so that you can just DO the plan without having to think about it when the occasion arises. When you're in the midst of suicidal ideation, or even intent, you're not in a problem-solving mood. So knowing past!you, with the help of a therapist hopefully, came up with the plan and all you have to do is follow up until the wave crests and subsides, is what allows you to see another day.

What would Eagle Flies smell/scent be?

Hihi! I have a few answers for you!!

So for canon time ef, i can imagine him smelling pretty neutral most of the time with a little hint of earthiness and musk. If he were to have some sort of cologne I’d imagine it would still be natural like sandalwood or pine, though i think he’d think it’s unnecessary.

For modern au ef (which I have as early 2000s) he has a sort of car smell but still some natural musk. He only owns one fancy cologne (tom ford oud wood), the rest tend to be drugstore brands or something at walgreens.

If you were to ask ef what he thought he smells like, he’d probably be a bit of a smart ass and say ‘good’ or ‘fresh’ before talking about what he’s currently wearing.

Also! Bringing back his cat oscar! He occasionally smells like outside cat and catnip bubbles! Because he loves his cat (whom i made up like a year ago)

DID SOMEONE SAY HOODIE 😩 Ohhhh oh oh oh that's the best it's the best it's UNMATCHED. Nobody asked me to draw it again but here I am because it's just too cute!!!! The stitches... The comfy... It feels like home.

And besides he could match with Eagle Flies UGH SO CUTE. 🥰 I wish Paytah had something like this too when he showed up then they could be like girls at a slumber party. Look what R* robbed from us!!! 😭

Back to your actual question! Hmmmm I think his classic outfit with the vest and jacket layered over it. Really nice texture mixing and the colors are pleasant to look at. I do think the outer layer should be darker to improve the silhouette but then he'd be wearing the exact same thing as Rains Fall. Oh and that burgundy shirt with the diamond shape Indigenous patterned vest is so good too! Again the colors are just so harmonious and the cut actually suits him.

BTW Rains Fall and Eagle Flies genuinely have the most immaculate color coordination!! That's probably why white folks be hating on them honestly. 😔 I should draw them sometime. Ohhhh my last boy... my last boy who isn't a total dumbass about fashion... Truly a loss for the world.
