About the French moderator

Well, we will not keep the suspense longer, the info has already circulated to some people, this morning I got fired for moderation, without good reason, without notice, or even without being informed, simply and dirtily. O joy, I am not even surprised by this disrespectful practice of our beloved company Beemoov to censor me (yes, yes, it was the purpose of the maneuver) when I reminded the team that a volunteer has rights, inscribed in the Labor Code and that, happy or not, it must respect them, because the law is what it is and no one is exempt from it.
It’s no surprise to anyone, Beemoov does not really like us pointing out his faults, it’s not a novelty. So when a moderator reminds the team that they have obligation, it must be silenced. So, no, if the team tries to make that happen for a decision on my part, that was never the case and again, they did not even do that in the rules, because here is a copy of the law concerning volunteering:
“It is illegal to use volunteers in the company on a recurring basis, even if they do not stay in the company for very short periods of time.”
“By its status, a volunteer can not be subordinated nor sanctioned”
So, I guess the company’s reaction was to say, “Oh, yes, it should not be known, let’s shut her up”.
Know that trying to silence a person who tries to defend his/her rights is spark things off and that I certainly served as an example to say to the other moderators “see what will happen to you if you do the same thing ”(I did not translate the end of her phsase, I did not understand what she said). I do not know if it’s a total ignorance of the law or if the company is simply trying to override trying to silence us. We are still in an extremely serious situation and now depend directly on the Prud'hommes (in France, “Prud'hommes” is a jurisdiction responsible for settling disputes between employers and employees).
I still wanted to put things in context and explain what is happening to the players who have accompanied me for so many years and in support of my fellow moderators who have found themselves in a situation that they have not not asked for and for which they are not responsible since they are in a situation as illegal as mine.

As a personal note, I encourage you to circulate this information and the moderators of each server learn about the laws that govern corporate volunteering in their country.
