Definitely a small setup, but I make desktop/tabletop/altar displays, wall hanging displays, shadow boxes, and pretty much anything you can think of (I’m making a jewelry box currently for my mother’s upcoming birthday), and repurpose animal bones I have found in the woods of Colorado, or ethically sourced otherwise. Most of them are salvaged by me, hiking and camping in the summertime.

Sense of Scale

One thing about Agave flowers, they can be so big that sometimes there is not a proper frame of reference to appreciate their size. Behold this medium sized Agave flower and the RBG employee at the top of an orchard ladder as he is tries to pollinate some of the flowers. Hybrids perhaps? This just puts the magnificence of the Agave bloom into an easier to digest perspective.
