MCU Ladies Week 2017: 12th - 18th February- STARTS TOMORROW!

This is your last reminder that the 2017 MCU Ladies Week starts tomorrow, the 12th February. The days are as follows:

Day 1 - Favourite Character - Tell us who your favourite female character is, and why. Do you identify with them in some way? Did they do something special that makes them your favourite? Tell us!

Day 2 - Unsung Hero - Who do you think doesn’t get nearly enough attention? Who would you like to see more of?

Day 3 - Favourite Scene - What is your favourite scene involving a female character? Do you have more than one? Are there any parallels between them?

Day 4 - Actor Appreciation - a day to appreciate the actors who make the characters come to life.

Day 5 - Favourite Relationship - Pretty self explanatory, a day to explore your favourite female (canon) relationship in the MCU.

Day 6 - Headcanons/AU - a day for exploring your headcanons for the characters and any alternate universe ideas you might have. The only day of the year I will post non-canon/fanfic stuff.

Day 7 - To the Future! - What are you hoping for from the new female characters coming to the MCU? Which characters would you like to see from the comics? What do you want to happen to the existing characters?

On your chosen day make your post and use the tag ‘#mculadiesweek’ so I can find it and reblog it. Remember! Sharon Carter/Pepper Potts:

Cousins Sharon and Tony have a bet on who will succeed in charming the new transfer to their high school. It turns out, impressing the fiery and smart Pepper Potts is a Carter gal’s cup of tea.

When architect Sharon Carter was given the assignment of remodelling the Potts Tower, she didn’t really think through the possibility of falling for the owner of the home.

Broadway director Maria Hill meets the young and talented Sharon Carter, niece of yesteryear star Peggy Carter, and decides to make her a star.

Sharon Carter never expected to meet a barista she would hate, but as always Maria Hill manages to accomplish the impossible.

Sharon Carter/Jane Foster:

Sharon Carter is the athletics star and Jane is the science champion of the school. Away from school they are the neighbors who know the real person behind their tags.

Jane is an Immortal who seeks the help of mortal Sharon Carter to save her King who has fallen.

A recently divorced Dr. Jane Foster and unhappily engaged DJ Sharon Carter mistakenly take each other’s bags at the airport and begin communicating in the pretext of returning the other’s items.

Since Sharon/Natasha has already been done in the previous Natasha based AU ideas post, I’m omitting that pair here.

Blackhill Headcanons

I realized there really isn’t a lot of Blackhil/Martasha headcanons out there, so i decided to write some of my own

Natasha climbs on Maria, a lot, it’s her way of showing affection

They enjoy cooking together, though Maria has no problem admitting Natasha is the better cook, having received formal training and all.

Natasha shop clothes for both of them, since she suspect Maria would otherwise own 20 identical outfits and nothing else.

Maria claims she does the same, actually Natasha just keeps stealing her shirts.

Natasha is excessively protective of Maria, to a point where it’s hampering their civilian social lives.

Maria has never missed an anniversary or birthday, though celebration has occasionally been postponed for the sake of world security.

Contrary to popular (ie. Clint’s) beliefs, Maria is more or less the same person at home and at work.

Maria doesn’t trust Liho further than she can throw her, a turn of phrase that earned her a murderous glare from the Black Widow

In the first months of their relationship, they had a lot of wild/crazy sex, both wanting to impress the other. Eventually they realized they were really more cuddlebugs.

Natasha started the rumor that she and Maria were dating.

After S.H.I.E.L.D. fell, they began talking about adoption.

Natasha signs her initial NHR, but frowns when Maria signs her’s MHR

Maria once took Natasha on a romantic getaway to France, they hated it.

Their second vacation came immediately following a mission going FUBAR, it’s in the S.H.I.E.L.D. database listed as “operation: bleeding polar-bear”, and was technically an extraction mission.

Maria struggles with showing affection, but Natasha kind of likes that about her.
