Welcome!

Hi! My names Elowen and welcome to the MCYT fic library! I'm super excited to get to run this blog for you! I've read every fic that I'm recommending, so it may take me some time to get them out there, but I'm working as hard as I can for you guys and I'm happy to do it. Because of that, though, there are certain fics that will never appear on this blog. Just things that I personally don't feel comfortable with. I hope you can understand that.

The piercing whistle of something hurtling overhead, growing ever closer. Tommy looked up too, scanning the sky for the source of the sound. The trees, the blades of grass, the very air around them seemed to shake in fear. Tommy’s would not be the only life lost, she thought. So much nature was going to be destroyed. They were too close, both of them, but it was ok. She had lives to spare. Tommy did not. She closed her eyes, clutching the compass to her chest as the noise grew louder. “Niki what- oh my god… NIKI, RUN!” Tommy screamed. Forgive me, Wilbur. She whispered into the darkness. You of all people should understand the meaning of necessary evils. She didn’t want to die. She knew she had to, but she did not want to die. Then, someone grabbed her arm and her eyes flew open, just in time to see Tommy fling her backwards. He saved her even as she killed him. She’d killed him even as he saved her. Niki and Jack are successful in their plans to use project dreamcatcher to their advantage. Phil is a God who is not quite ready to send another son's soul away.

Tubbo had always been better with actions than with words. Despite having worked as a president for a few months, big speeches still made him nervous. On top of that, emotions in general were his sworn enemy and he was not willing to breach the topic even under torture. So it goes without saying that when he noticed his best friend starting to withdraw from him he did not talk to him about it. He just watched as Tommy looked up at Snowchester’s cloudy sky with clear distaste. He watched as the petals blooming all over his hair wilted a bit more each day. He watched as he became more lethargic every time he visited. He analyzed every little hint he got, and, without even needing to ask, came to the only logical conclusion: Tommy was not a winter plant. Well, Tommy wasn’t a plant exactly, but mooblooms were close enough to it. And what do you do when your bestie is not made to survive eternal winter and you’re unwilling to get a second mansion built somewhere warmer? You build a greenhouse for him, of course!

He lifted the potted allium off the counter and onto the windowsill so that it could get all of the bright sunlight it wanted. “All the better now that I’ve heard your voice.”

Truthfully, I fell out of this fandom around October of last year and have been spending my time doing other things. I'm mainly into Batman comics right now, so I'm spending a lot of time not reading fanfiction. I do still read the occasional mcyt fic, but things have kinda imploded in dsmp fandom and i never made the switch to hermitcraft or life series completely. I have a few more fics to rec, but it's gonna be some time because I haven't gotten around to making their posts yet.

Hello! I’m Six6 and I have been struggling to find a zombie acholipse AU fic.

Tommy is a infacted that’s immune that goes vy the name ‘Red’. He kills other survivor camps for fun and for ravange and alike.

SBI is from a survivor camp that’s near the camps Red has raides and they decide that they need to kill Res for the better and safety.

The go to find Red, witch is Tommy. First they don’t belive it’s Tommy that’s murdering whole camps by himself so they bond a little.

Afterwords they figure out that Tommy is infact Red and they bring Tommy back to the camp they came from by force. Then stuff happens basicly.

Have you red this or if you haven’t, helo me find it? (Also I reccomend it it’s very good)

Okay, I know it's been literal months since this ask, but I just realized that that says books and not fics. So I've gone back to examine both of these fics and here are some books I've personally read with similar vibes:

The Disasters by M.K. England is about a group of kids saving the universe after being kicked out of space school! It's very found family and the cast is diverse and lovable

Warcross by Marie Lu is one of my all time favorite books. It's about a group of gamers trying to uncover an evil program. It's also set in this super cool future universe and the twists are believable but not too expected

Nyxia by Scott Reintgen is also futuristic and space related, but is about kids in a space training program who are competing but also becoming besties! It's the first in a series I haven't finished yet, though, so I don't know how it ends

Cinder by Marissa Meyer is space and future (I have a type), but is heavily focused on found family and the series just continues on that train of people who have been rejected their whole life and coming together to build a home

#murdertrending by Gretchen McNeil is absolutely fascinating and definitely a fun little vibe. It's a little bit horror because it focuses on serial killers, but all the characters are so interesting to learn about

I know this isn't my usual kind of post, but I thought this was a nice way to talk about literature outside of fandom in case people are looking for books to read as well!
