Nancy turning up to see Jonathan while he was picking out a coffin is actually a very funny scene when you consider the series of events that would’ve needed to take place for her to end up there. First of all, the day after Will’s body was found, Nancy would’ve had to be like “yes, now is the time to go to his house, interrupt him and his grieving mother and ask him about this incredibly inappropriate photo he took of me”. Then there’s the fact that when she got there Joyce was happily giving away information about his whereabouts and straight up telling people he was picking out a coffin and that she was not there helping him and didn’t care to go and help him. And after receiving this context, Nancy still decided that this was a good time to go and talk to Jonathan about this… what a little weirdo

on today's episode of every story needs more lesbians and women: don't get me wrong i love jonathan just as he is right now but you know what would have probably made him my favorite character in any piece of media ever is if he had been a weird girlfailure instead. as in there is no change to the way she dresses or acts or anything, she's still a music elitist and an outcast loser and is basically just will's absolute girlfailure parentified older sister. when she encounters nancy in s1, she begins a very weird lesbian monsterhunting situationship with her that peaks in s2 with The Kiss™️. and then in s4 she sees her brother struggling with his queerness and wants to help him as a fellow queer person but also is so traumatized from previous events and scared of the future that she becomes a massive pothead while also trying to deal with her now even more complicated long distance relationship with nancy. and she has fuckass straight bangs with a weird bob in seasons 1-3 but then in seasons 4 and 5 she grows her hair out and has a fuckass mullet. and she's lowkey hot (just like jonathan is described as being handsome but he'd never know it or whatever the duffers said) but she's also The Weird Kid™️ so no one really notices or cares. sorry can anyone hear me. does this make sense. it is 8 AM

I do think it's funny that the wheeler home was violently attacked and the wheeler parents were hospitalized and the youngest wheeler child went missing and now Karen walks around with these crazy fuck ass scares on her neck/chest but nobody in Hawkins is even the least big curious about what the happened that night. Are you telling me this closed minded small town has absolutely zero rumors going around. Or like so they all just believe a bobcat found its way into the wheeler home and lit up the place.
