AITA for believing we should have a merit-based system?

I've always been a big believer in hard work as the expression of talent. I've worked for over 1000 years to obtain the arcane skills I possess, though great struggle, perseverance, and the considerable acuity of my own mind. I now sit in the highest seat of power in my field, and though I would never admit it openly, also the highest seat of power in our nation by proxy and influence. There is nothing that goes on that I don't know about, or have had a hand in. Everything I have achieved, I have worked for myself.

So you must understand that when others enter my profession with skills and qualities gifted to them, not earned, I am displeased. And the givers of these "gifts" - these beings of monumental power, our creators, who claim also to be our betters and yet die like any mortal with the right circumstances - are a scourge on this world. The powers they bestow on mortals are merely an expression of their puppetry, their disdain, their fear. They sit behind an arcane veil and feast upon the mortal world for their own gain, unbalancing the scales as they see fit.

I had to do something about it. How could I not? In my position of status and power, it would be irresponsible not to. So I started a little cult and gathered up lots of people who have been hurt by the unbalanced system, and I used them to create a device that will unleash an ancient predator from the moon who would eat all the gods and free us from their influence for good.

I always knew this wouldn't be popular with a certain crowd. People who are comforted by being controlled, like children, or those who have become powerful by cavorting with these "gods". I planned for a certain amount of backlash and even used it to my advantage in several cases (I turned a divine champion into a marble, which was very fun, but that merits its own post on r/MadeMeSmile). And really, at this point, no one can stop me. But I confess: I'm a little annoyed at how vehement the opposition has been. Can't they see what I'm doing for them? For everyone? I'm breaking the shackles that have been holding us all back! Freeing us from our fickle oppressors! Evening the playing field! Putting each person's fate in their own hands!

So, AITA?

tl;dr: I'm freeing a god-eater from its moon prison to rid the world of divine meddling. A lot of people are upset, but I think they're just afraid of taking accountability for their own lives.

PHILZA MINECRAFT REPRODUCES ASEXUALLY

He can reproduce asexually but only in cold places, as thats where his species breeds. As he has wings, he lays eggs.

Philza became dangerously close to dying because of a baby zombie, and worried about not having an heir.

So he popped himself inside a fridge and laid an egg. Bam, Wilbur.

Now he's in the arctic, a cold place. Making the syndicate stronghold (nesting instinct????)

Now, here's a whole nother theory.

Wilbur + Salmon = Fox, right? Maybe. But what if its actually Wilbur + Mate = Random hybrid? Maybe he got Phil's hybrid gene, but it's recessive? And the hybrid just means baby = hybrid, not baby = hybrid of this specific animal.

Since philzas zombie death happened a year or two ago, we can assume his egg children reach maturity/grow super fast

Philza minecraft strategically reproduces asexually to make more syndicate members because techno is so horrible at recruiting that he feels bad.

Friendly reminder to all the people freaking out about Ranboo having a supposed secret tumblr account!!

Don’t try and find it, period. Just like us, he has a right to have a tumblr account, and the fact that he has to hide his account probably out of fear of being swarmed, is sad.

We are better then this mcytblr! We can do better. So please stop freaking out, and pestering him; which I doubt any of you are because well.. we’re a lot better at leaving people alone the mcyttwt.

Just let him enjoy our lovely community and whatever communities he enjoys, in peace? Kay?

Like, maybe Phil comes off as like this really sweet and loving guy who could do no wrong when you first experience him because he always tries to keep a good reputation but then when you get to know him he's just a chaotic mess who will commit arson if you ask him to, and Techno is like that stereotypical bad boy/jock who everyone is terrified of but then when you get to know him you realize that he's just a socially anxious guy who just puts up this front so people won't mess with him, Ranboo it's just a socially awkward mess and hates the fact that he's tall because it draws more attention to him, Tommy is just a little gremlin who's not afraid to punt any short person in his way into the sun, and Tubbo is just this oddly sweet child with a dark side and a hankering for murder."

c!Technoblade feels like he would be both touch starved and against being touched.

Not quite touch repulsed, but he's so used to touch meaning violence that he needs to build up a lot of trust with a person to be okay with them touching him.

Solution?

Laying down in the middle of the dog house for an hour getting Therapy Cuddles with his dogs :)
