Unstable Universe & LOSS...

Spoke is officially losing the whole of his sanity, Wemmbu's losing everything meaningful to him, Parrot's losing his beloved morals, Flame is losing himself or who we thought he was.

Mapicc is no longer Spoke's enthusiastic yes-man, Eggchan may just have been captured for good this time, Theo's loyalty is slowly but surely being tested, and Lomedy's just gone.

And it feels like UU's finally approaching the peak of its overarching plot.

From the first season/part of UU, the protagonists were always featured in each other's POVs. However, as the series progressed, each POV began to feel more disconnected as each protagonist followed their own stories—their own arcs, and they only occassionally popped in each other's POV.

Then, The Law Arc came and they all came together in The Avengers-like fashion. A beautiful, happy fight like in all optimistic cartoons showing that teamwork makes the dream work.

Now, everyone is lost. When the quartet meet again, they won't be the same people. They won't be on the same side. They won't be fighting for the same cause. That is—if they ever do meet again, which I doubt they do meet in much agreeable circumstances.

Angel Eggchan & Demon Wemmbu is the best headcanon the fandom could have ever all collectively agreed to.

"An angel makes itself look scary to ward off evil. A demon makes itself look beautiful to deceive humans."

This quote being reflected in the fandom's designs of them is just. Amazing. Their duo is so cartoonish and comedic(?)

Imagine if the thing happening in the UE discord server with Spoke repeatedly disappearing from the "Show off who is your favorite!" poll is hinting to Spoke's POV becoming unavailable, at least temporarily, or something.

Definitely not happening, but it'd be cool to think about a Spoke that the viewer can no longer read the mind of.

Only being able to see Spoke in the eyes of the other protagonists, bringing up more questions than ever.

Thinking of Immortal Eggchan...

The idea of Eggchan being an immortal being who collects the myriad of information and stories he's collected throughout his infinite lifetime. And Wemmbu being part of only a fraction of his life as Wemmbu's a mortal, yet this fraction of time being the most memorable and impactful.

A period of his life he'll cherish forever, and perhaps even giving his documentations of his time with Wemmbu a dedicated separate book.

And in this book is written to every detail of every second of Wemmbu's actions. Because although Eggchan is allseeing, he has horrible short-term memory and has forgotten the times he's had with his previous companions and vows to never allow it to happen again. That is how he has developed the habit of journaling everything down—to immortalize such memories.

Maybe Eggchan's immorality was a curse, maybe a thing of his species, maybe he wasn't always an angel/seraphim—no one knows, actually.

Wemmbu realizes this: Eggchan knows too much of Wemmbu; Wemmbu knows too little of Eggchan.

But, maybe, it's better it stays that way.

Wemmbu should know. Ignorance, at least for majority of the time, is bliss.
