was rewatching the pitt earlier & noticed that in the scene after whitaker loses his first patient, robby pats him on the shoulder, whitaker turns to leave, and robby tells him that he can talk to kiara if he'd like. He then hovers his hand behind whitaker to pat him on the back, and he really does try, but whitaker leaves before he really can make contact with him again.

this man cannot keep his hands to himself!!!!!!

Just a reminder that choices were made when casting Gerran Howell as Whitaker.

There was a brief given to the casting agent, and a character profile in the series bible.

There was consideration for how that character would look, act and INTERact with other characters.

There was thought given to how Whitaker would physically look with other characters.

There was thought given to relationship building.

I'm just saying... there were choices made.

Once Syril inadvertently saves Dedra a second time, he is no longer needed. Which is actually really awfully callous of The Force, when I think about it.
