The subtle background friendship that Chad and Gord have going on is one of my current favourite things to ponder over. From scrapped beta concepts and content to the official game, they're consistently paired alongside one another in some way or another.

The pair team up to snatch Jimmy's trophy during Beach Rumble, share responsibility for hiring the help at Harrington House, and overall are two of the Preps in game with larger roles (speaking roles in cutscenes, major roles in missions etc).

What I find even more interesting is the fact that the pair of them are the two canonically bisexual Preps, and wouldn't be surprised if this fact was at least partially a reason for a close bond. Despite the fact they're both obviously interested and involved in a scandalous affair with Lola (same goes for Tad but he's least relevant in this post), there seems to be a lack of tension or jealousy between the clique members. Their comfortability in sharing the same partner, and the fact that both their canon partners (Jimmy/Lola for Gord & Bryce/Lola for Chad) male and female are come from poorer backgrounds (if we assume Chad knows of Bryce's situation, that is) drives me to headcanon the pair having a close friendship in which they tell each other everything.
