I find it kind of ironic that some of my favorite and most feminist lines came from some of the darkest characters

I know these characters did terrible things but just for these lines I will forgive them everything 🤩

This resonated with me so much as person born with a visual disability I felt this way so many times. I find myself apologizing for needing more help than an average person and I feel so guilty for being a burden or responsibility for everyone around me even if it is ridiculous to feel that way.

There is this scene in the second book (Rage and Ruin) where Zayne and Trinity were fighting outside an ice cream parlor it made me cry for almost half an hour. A lot of authors don't include disabled people and even when they do they gloss over their struggles or make it seem like little to no effort is required to live a normal life, it makes my blood boil.

Something I find very interesting is that the starsword and Truth-teller both called to fae with abilities to summon shadows. I can't help but think it would somehow come into play in the later books.

Just think about it, Ruhn isn't the most powerful starborn, he barely has a drop of the power when compared to Bryce but he was the one that the sword appeared to and called out to. We don't really know how truth teller came into Azriel's possession but I bet there is an equally horrendous ordeal involved.

Did you notice that in a kingdom of ash, when Aelin forges the lock and is falling through worlds. The world's of Crescent City, A Court Of Thorns And Roses are all on top of each other?

Idk why but every time I notice this I get so excited

Will Bryce Quinlan be allowed in the bone quarter?

Remember the scene where Sabine revealed that Bryce had made a bargain with the Under King, her place in the bone quarter for the passage of Danika but at the end of the book Bryce says that Danika had yielded her eternity.

So my question is, since Danika is not in the bone quarter anymore, does this mean Bryce will be allowed in the bone quarter after her death?

You know what I hate about some romances?

(Their are a lot of things actually).

But the thing I hate most is that it gives the message to men that it is okay to persue someone after they said 'no'. Like the women are just saying no because of a reason that is a non-issue and would become inconsequential by the end of the book. And that if a girl is ignoring you than it is ok, romantic even to take it as a challenge and act as creepy as possible while you're at it. 🤬

If I'm attracted to a guy but don't want to go out with him because of my own reasons, I have every right to reject him and telling young woman or girls that such kind of behaviour is acceptable just because the guy doing it is charming or good-looking is just plain BS.

Re-reading A Court Of Silver Flames I really should have figured out feyre's pregnancy sooner,what with all the snarling, moodiness and distractedness that Rhys was displaying. Yes, he is protective of people he loves but this was a whole nother level. Also feyre didn't mind all that much when usually she would have been more vocal about not wanting that shield

I read Flock By Kate Stewart

I had serious doubts about this book, mostly because I never read a MFM romance and very few authors can write a relationship like that properly but I think Kate did a excellent job.

The story follows a girl named Cecelia who has to work at her father's company for a year to get her inheritance to help her mother, on her first day of work she meets Sean and sparks fly but Sean is involved in some kind of secret society and no one who is in the society will tell her a thing.

It's very cloak and dagger and nothing in the book is clear until the 95% mark but trust me you would want to finish the book in one sitting. You should go into the book blind so you can really appreciate the twists and turns the book takes.

I know some of you thought that would be like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there’s no right answer BUT…you played it good & right. Congrats pals, you guessed the correct titles and feature artists on Red (my version). I'm reading outlander and I'm really tempted to throw it out the window.

I don't care what you say about the male lead (Jamie). I really hate him, he repeatedly forces the female lead (Claire) to sleep with him despite being told NO and being told that HE WAS HURTING HER. To quote the book

"Jamie Frazer was not a man to take no for an answer.... Gentle he would be, denied he would not."

Then, there is the matter of Jamie hitting Claire with a belt for 'disobeying' him. He and the other men laugh at her discomfort when she couldn't sit down or ride a horse because of the pain. I wouldn't have been so forgiving of him as Claire was.

Don't even get me started on Claire she could be so unreal sometimes

The only time she thinks of her husband of SEVEN years (whom she claims to love) is when she remembers that she doesn't actually belong to the mid 1700s

She has no sympathy. Jamie tells her that his sister was raped and her response is 'oh dear'. Jamie tells her that he saw someone being raped and instead of asking any questions she simply moves on with the conversation like it's normal to talk about rape when you're cuddling

She has no urgency to get back to her own time she basically acts like it is a trivial thing

She repeatedly cheated on her husband a month after living in 1743

She killed someone in self defence and she feels mild shock but she never thinks about it again, she completely forgets about it the very next day

I read the savage song by Victoria Schwab. This book really intrigued me, the Idea that every time something horrific happens or someone is killed the cosmic shift happens which produces monsters.

One one side we have Callam Harker who offers protection to everyone who is willing to pay for it. On the other side we have Hendry Flynn who is wants people to fight for it.

The story follows Kate Harker. the daughter of Callam Harker. She desperately wants his approval and wants to prove that she can be as ruthless as her father. Whereas August Flynn the adoptive son of Hendry Flynn, is a sunai also known as a soul-eaters but all he wants is to be human.

There worlds collide when Kate gets kicked out of the sixth bording school and August jumps on the chance to spy on her. He finds out that she is nothing like her father despite what she wants people to believe. They join forces after an attempt on Kate's life by her father's second in command.

I just read Verity by Colleen Hoover and my god what was this ending. This book was one of the best thrillers I've read in a white and I was so damn afraid for the character. This is one of those books that leave you with more questions than answers. I'd really recommend this book if you want to be on the edge of your seat and want to really get scared.
