The sun was gradually sinking beneath the horizon — he had somewhere to be, matters to attend to, but he could not refuse her whispered plea for company.

                 She is thankful, more so than she may let on,  but                 since  the  incident with Imhotep  Evy had wanted                 to spend as little time alone as possibly.   It would                 not  last,   this dependence on others,    she  was                 strong after all, but for the time being she needed                his company.  

              “Thank you, Ardeth, your company brings me more               comfort than you perhaps realise.”
