I forgot to type this here but... essentially, I've taken a small break from this acc and internet despite all the lovely memories I've had.
I have, for a while, wanting to reset and reevaluate my time on the internet. I will still be around; I have a somewhat more "professional" acc I've been posting on to make content I've been too embarrassed to make on the Meekus accs
Maybe the occasional silly posts on my Meekus accs (and use them as alts maybe) but the twitter acc has been defintelty paused indefinitely.
Nothing has been entirely set in stone!! I'm still iffy about everything so I've been taking it one step at a time. Thank you very much for everything!!
love the library. there's no risk. you can take out a book and go "wow this sucks" and just give it back. and when you do that you're still making the library's Number Go Up so you'll be able to roll the dice on even more books. all for the low low price of free/you already paid for it with your tax money so you might as well use it
My library branch has recently removed tardy fees. And allows you to hold on to books for up to 6 more times.
Basically: when you check out a book, you can hold onto it for up to two weeks. Uh oh! You had something come up and couldn't return it? No worries! We'll automatically add another two weeks to it. UP TO SIX TIMES AFTER THE INITIAL CHECK OUT.
I love my library :3
(basically we only have fees for after the six times or damages/replacement for books)
Plus, we have a 3D printer, classes, clubs and even resources and pamphlets for suicide prevention and the Trevor Project infographics in the teen section which I think is very nice. (I live in the south, so yes, this is a very big deal and very nice)
More info (not yet completely thought out), just rambles really:
They all work in a rundown pizza place they bought during the day, fight crime by night.
DONNIE: is the eldest, and the so-called manager of the pizzeria during the day. He's the brother that's juggling too many things at once, burnt out gifted kid™. Whenever April comes by to help out, he is so grateful
LEO: At night, during patrols, he's the one that leads the group during fights, being the best at strategies and the most practice whenever Splinter trains when he can. He is the untitled "Golden Child", getting teased by Raph about how much their father seems to prefer Leo over everyone else especially when it comes to lessons. Leo is also very into anime, specifically magical girls, and gets most of their style and inspiration from such. And maybe, he's experimenting with eyeliner and ribbons in a not-so secret way
I don't have these guys thought out 100%... more like 45%:
MIKEY: Leo's twin and the youngest, Mikey, is rather... lazy. Sleepy from staying up reading comics or from the lunch rush. He has the least motivation to do stuff unless it involves pizza, stickers or skateboarding. When asked to help out defend New York, he would rather stay in and sleep. There's not really a reason as to why, Donnie has a few theories... but one thing for sure, his sleep schedule is really messed up.
RAPH: Raph really wants a motorcycle. That's it...
....
Okay, but actually, he played shadow the hedgehog and now thinks he's the ultimate lifeform (thanks shyguy) and the coolest thing on the block, has a short fuse and gets overwhelmed and angry from the others' antics. Has the most common sense out of everyone and has to occasional rally the guys and get them to snap out of whatever delusions they have
SPLINTER: I just think it'd be funny if he was more rat than human, skittering about and speaking for short bursts before returning to squeaks and rat's noises that only Donnie can decipher
