A Silent Voice Character Analysis: Takeuchi

I absolutely love the teacher, Takeuchi, from a silent voice for calling Shoya out for bullying but I hate that he’s did absolutely nothing to stop the bullying when he knew it was happening. This goes for both Shota and Shouko. Like he knew it was occurring so why is he stopping it now? Why not earlier? Like I understand that as a teacher you don’t see everything in your classroom but he for sure had seen Shoya bullying Shouko bc why else would Takeuchi blame Shoya? If Takeuchi was able to make that inference why wasn’t he able to stop Shoya’s bullying? I’m pretty sure he would have seen the torment Shoya had go through or at least a glimpse of it. But why not stop Shoya’s bullies? Is it bc he refuses to help a bully or does he simply not care about Shoya’s wellbeing as his student anymore? Well we’ll never know but what we do know is that Takeuchi had failed both Shoya and Shouko. Takeuchi has failed as a teacher because in a way he promotes Shoya’s bullying by not stopping it. He’s just as worst as the other bullies for ignoring it and watching it as a bystander. He let the bullying happen and this is why I hate the schooling system!

I feel like a wake up call is what going to ‘fix’ his attitude. Like it’s bound to happen. Idk why but I feel like this wake up call is gonna involve Deku or someone close to Bakugo dying?? Possibly Aizawa? All I know is something big is coming and shit is gonna go down. And I don’t even what to say this but I think not everyone is going to make it out alive......If it’s Aizawa I feel like some students, especially Bakugo and Deky, in the Hero Course are going to question their morals/life but i don’t think they’ll quit being a hero in training. I’m so sorry I’m overthinking again 😭 Please don’t hate me this is all just hypothetical!!
