Autoimmune Diseases such as Lupus, Crohn’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis, often require the patient to take either anti-inflammatory medicines and or direct immune suppressing medications. Both types of medicines can help in preventing a Cytokine Storm from hurting the patient. Of course, this would be expected given the fact that for decades, the common belief among researchers and practitioners of medicine has been that an over reactive immune system is to blame for a multitude of widely recognized Autoimmune Diseases and also those which are seemingly rare.
