on this very day in 1969 my mom and dad said i do and the story of the james j houston family began. 

every night as i lay in bed and say my prays, (yes to anyone in my family if you are reading this, i still blow kisses) i think of millions of memories that i have all because a man had the heart to ask a question and she had the love to say yes. my parents love is a love that cannot be compared to any other and they have passed that love to each person that they have met. i hope that one day i will experience the love they have and i know it happens because i have four siblings who live this love that i admire so much. 

though this may be cliche, it must be posted:

love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. love never fails… but now faith, hope love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Just like a modern day version of A River Runs Through It (at a concrete pond in Golden Gate Park, with no Brad Pitt), Meg and I perfected (began) our fly fishing skills last weekend.
