a) an intentional marketing scheme to stir interest in the project and attract certain fanbases (lgbtq people and young women) vs. 

b) members of the creative team genuinely wanting to write queer characters but the corporate side of things force them to tone it down but they still leave little hints vs. 

c) they legitimately did not know how gay something would come across

So I had to get weighed for a birth control appointment.  Being at a hospital that doesn’t really get my past thought its on my freaking chart.  So they ask for my weight faced forward with shoes on?  seriously I always took my shoes off but they don’t seem to care here. And I was too cowardly to step on backwards and lost selfcontrol to not look down.  and yay i’m probably about the weight before I started dating my ex and its scary.  Like logically I know that I was ill enough that my attractiveness significantly changed but like it feels like I’m setting my clock back to zero making me more suseptible to a similar unhealthy relationship.  I know its bonkers but like....yeah.
