Dude, I absolutely love your art style, and ik you don’t take requests or I don’t thinkkk you do, but you should draw more Blusey art. I love Blusey😊
Thank you!! I’m open to requests, whenever I have some free time to draw them :D
Here it is! And the second one is from last year (I think I never shared it here)!
TRC animation update! 🥳
"There's no platonic explanation for this" <-you need to be nicer to your friends. Right now
Tumblr I need everyone to log in rn because the most important, quotable, instantly iconic celebrity post of the century just dropped
A ship — a magnificent ship — full of gay men. And me.
I am furious, but I am sailing.
And what is the charge?! A ship??? A magnificent ship full of gay men and me?!
louis smiling and confirming to regina that hes gay is so funny to me.... no no i didnt want SEX oh god, you mustve thought i was so creepy haha. Noooo omg i want you to act like my dead vampire daughter who was also a stand in for my humam sister who died believing me to be a monster. which i am.

my favorite thing about louis is he's a business major in a world of theater kids. everyone's playing psychological games with each other through theater and rock music and the fractured art of storytelling and he's like "but what are the margins on my vampire hotel"
It’s so fucking bananas that the last straw for Lestat in that meeting was finding out that Louis was getting 45% of merch profits on his tour. What kind of joker ass motherfucker becomes an investor in their ex’s crash out??? Louis Du Pointe Du Lac no one ever did it like you
the difference between interviewing louis and lestat is that louis has spent the past decades ruminating in depressed silence and it’s going to be very hard to say something he hasn’t already thought to himself. daniel can say “have you thought about how your kid’s death was your fault” and louis will be like “extensively.” meanwhile lestat has been living in such avoidance loops that you ask him if he’d stuttered as a child he won’t answer because he needs to have a party drug orgy about it
One thing I'm really loving about the perspective shift between Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat is how Lestat and Louis appear in each other's narratives, through each other's eyes.
Louis sees Lestat as this primal force of nature who looks like a romance novel hero, can effortlessly control any room, is "preternaturally charming," impeccably turned out, no one can say no to him for long.
but we get in LESTAT'S head, and suddenly he has scars and a tangled mane of hair, people are constantly talking over him, he sweats, he's getting beat up and his clothes are getting destroyed in a non-sexy way, he's flailing around wildly with NO idea what he's doing, people (lestat included) think he's untalented and annoying.
And LOUIS, well. Louis clearly sees himself as uncanny, reserved, compelling but a little off-putting. He is other: cut-off from humanity, holding his emotions and relationships at arm's length.
Then we see him in The Vampire Lestat, and it's like no. This is the warmest, cutest, sexiest, coolest, most capable and most desirable man who has ever walked the face of the earth.
You show a cat something and they're like sniff sniff sniff sniff sniff sniff sniff ooooh I understand now. Don't care
#very normal and healthy information to know

does this answer your question
series of unfortunate events really said: sometimes adults are wrong. sometimes they do not have your best interests at heart. sometimes the authority figures you’ve been told to trust are evil, and sometimes they’re just plain idiotic. often, they won’t listen to you, even when you are right. they will misinterpret things you say and belittle your interests and then expect you to take it lying down. sometimes you will know better than they do and there will be very little you can do to change their mind. despite all this, there is good in the world and it will be okay. being young does not mean you are worthless.
i dont watch it but its very funny to me that iwtv s1 episode titles are like We Burn Eternally Beneath The Hateful Fury Of A Deity’s Ancient Vengeance and iwtv s3 episode titles are like Cleveland
what I fucking love is how tvl was written in the 80s and lestat is constantly sayinf shit like “as the kids say 🤪 that’s so rad!!” or whatever, and to me, reader of the vampire lestat in this modern age, that does NOT register the way anne rice intended it.
like it is supposed to feel jarring and insane. it is supposed to feel like lestat has been violently submerged in modern young people trends and culture and is now repeating all the new words he learned like a beautiful fresh baby. but because the book is from 1985, all I think is oh interesting huh I didn’t know that slang term even originated in the 80s how vintage how retro how lestat wow he’s so embarrassing aw aw so cute.
but amc in all their incredible genius decided that honoring anne rice’s original vision of writing an extremely modern and weird book that fully embodied the era it was written in was more important then bringing back the 80s nostalgia thing that streaming services love and it’s incredible to me. now I get to listen to lestat say shit like “labubu FOMO cosplay reddit discord Gen Z more like gen SNOOZE 🤪🤪🤪 safe space pronouns donald trump labubu tiktok dance 🕺🏻” and suddenly I understand what it felt like to be a young anne rice reader in 1985. God…. I understand.
