saw a post that said that the episode with lawyer ryu jae-sook was probably gonna be an instrumental one leading to young-woo questioning her morals within her own work and possibly starting her own law firm. and i 100% agree with all of it, but i do think it isn't really plausible for a rookie to open an entire firm.
you know who isn't a rookie though? jung myeong-seok. we've seen him visibly over-extending himself leading to very dire consequences for his health. so i feel like this episode's a turning point for him too.
jun-ho in particular remarks that people like myeong-seok have found their answer about the morality of their work, and he does seem to say as much when confronted by the advice hanbada gave to that company. but a core theme of this episode was also one of myeong-seok's past cases coming back to haunt him very literally. and seeing the preview for the next episode, where he proposes a "business trip" vacation, it does seem like he's realized that he's committed too much of his life to work. definitely feels like trying to take a step back and maybe questioning the real value of the work he does at hanbada, both in a moral sense and a personal health sense.
basically, i think the show's gonna end with myeong-seok opening his own firm and taking the rookies with him (except min-woo, fuck min-woo)
