On the battlefield of life we lost a great teacher Thich Nhat Hanh was the pure example of goodness and his gentle fight for peace is a great example. In the middle of this, some think that well or life is not like Milarepa or great saint and sometimes just give up altogether on the path. The Buddha said himself that he can’t give us any of his realisations only we can walk the path. World today want happiness in all kind of form but very fast turn to bitterness as soon the first obstacle shows up. We will say “Tara save me “ but forgot that we also got buddha inside us. Of course, Tara will save us but are we able to save ourselves? Whatever pill we took to wake up Tibetan, Thai or Japanese still the same teaching it’s up to us. We disempower ourselves in superstition, thinking that fast things gonna to help us, well Buddha Shakyamuni said that no one can clean our minds except us. Yes, life is a battlefield and most of the time we gonna run to the monastery seeking help selfishly when the real practice of our practice is right in the problem of our hollow life.

If Milarepa had no hardship he will have been like us lazy and misunderstanding of suffering. Hardship of today are enlightenment of tomorrow.
