Here lies the blog for COME384A: Communication Technology and Social Change.I'm a big fan of music, and that's not just because I'm a musician. I've always had great love for music (anything but country) and I can connect certain "eras" of my life to specific genres, albums, artists or songs. "Creep" by Radiohead was a defining song for my freshman year of college, for example. My freshman year of high school was defined by My Chemical Romance. There's definitely a difference in my music taste between those four years. Silence can be nice, but why not fill the empty space with sound? I am constantly creating the soundtrack to my life, so here I will be taking notes on what's been stuck in my head, or newer songs that crawled into my heart.

This song gets me everytime. I remember I had an ex who put this on a get-me-back playlist back in 2017... the playlist didn’t work, but I did appreciate the new music to listen to. It’s been over 4 years since then, but this song has always stuck with me. It doens’t remind me of the past at all and actually, I’m not too sure what it reminds me of. I just really like to listen to it. I listen to softer music now than I used to when I was a teen, but the “classics” get me everytime. Don’t be surpised if more music from this genre pops up in the upcoming posts because they still make me feel good when I’m in the mood.

This song is like a whisper in my ear; it tells me I am doing well based on the decisions I make. I prefer to listen to this song on long drives, it makes the drive full of life and brings peace to my ears.
