Wooh just back from symbiosis gathering. What a drive but well worth it. So thankful for my experience with these two. I learned a deeper understanding of love and community. Which was needed because of being drained, anxious and depressed before the festival. So many beautiful people, art and conversations healed my heart. I will always have love for the festival community. #symbiosis2016

This elder really hit home.. telling stories of local Washington natives. We are the water people. Tribes around the state and Canada come together to participate in canoe journey each summer. The celebration of unity amongst the pnw. He talked about the life of the water people: clam digs, the first salmon ceremony (the story of the salmon lady), and easy access to fresh seafood.
