PTSD can occur from any incident when you feel an imminent threat. Such things like car accidents, being in a store whilst it’s robbed, a person who is threatening and literally any time where you believe you are in immediate danger can develop PTSD…

Emotionally abusive relationships at any age Physically abusive relationships at any age Living in a dangerous neighborhood Being attacked by a dog Seeing someone die Being involved in an accident of any kind Being stalked Repeatedly being harassed Almost or actually getting stuck by lightning Being caught in a natural disaster of any kind Having an encounter with a wild animal Any near death experience
