So my friend bailed on me allowing me to potato on the couch much longer and here’s how it went. Low quality for WIP reasons and side by side from the major changes I made. I’m so close to starting the hair I can almost taste it. 👅

I took away his cleavage and fixed the neck to look like a real-er neck and adjusted the textures of things. It’s like endless rendering and I’m not even to the stage where I can put the real background and reflective shadows and light in.

After 60+ hours, I am so happy to bring you here this illustration! It was such a challenge, as I started it from a simple gesture drawing made with mannequins (so no proper anatomy picture to take information from!) It started as an anatomy study, then it developed into something more complex! It caused me a burnout, I almost gave up one or two times, but now I am so happy with the result! Hope you like it as well! 💕
