I wish I could tell you how much it still stings. How I still feel like my heart is being ripped apart. But it won’t matter now. As you say, the only thing left for us to do is to accept it. And try hard as much to keep going, keep living.

I can no longer remember how many times did we try to say good bye. But still manage to pull each other back and still failed to work it out.

Something I loved being in this place is the overflowing coffee. No matter what time of the day it is, regardless of the scorching hot of the weather or the pour out of rain, be it in a disposable cup or on my favorite mug. Coffee is consistently being offered. Making the stay always warm and comfortable. I miss the island, the place, the people but mostly you.

I can’t even think of my favorite places without it being associated with you.

A few days before Valentine’s last year, we were on this same spot. Trying out camping chairs, bantering at each other, laughing and planning out where are we gonna use these chairs if we ever buy one. I even remembered you saying we’ll use it in our apartment, I said you should buy me the bigger one with the arm rest on it and cup holder, you agreed and teasingly said i should probably have it cos it’s heavy duty and we laugh our asses off . That was one of our happiest days together.

Today, i went to the same place. This was my first time again since that day that I came with you. And boyyy, you can never believe the feelings that came rushing in. I walked in the place feeling all the feelings I had before, with you. And I missed you. I miss you so fucking bad i felt like my heart was being torn again.

That moment had me realizing I will always love you and that I will forever cherish our memories and hold it close to my heart.

But I would never want to go back.
