MIRABEL AND ISABELA'S RELATIONSHIP STATUS'S
Beginning of the movie - Average sibling fight/conversation
In the beginning of the movie, Isabela and Mirabel are having a conversation about sisterly advice, and who is in the way. To be honest, it's a pretty average fight (at least for me). Isabela, as the older sister is trying to annoy Mirabel. Mirabel, on the other hand is completely annoyed at her attitude and tries to get a comeback. She ends up saying "I'm not in the way, you are." which makes Mirabel hit her face on one of the plants I suppose Isabela made.
Middle of the movie - I hate you! - What Else Can I Do?
Mirabel ruins the whole dinner by making a situation, with her dad having Bruno's vision. Isabela get's terrified on what's happening and accidently hits Mariano's nose, making it look like a "smashed papaya" as she says. Mirabel tries to explain that it's Bruno's vision, but instead she gets the comments "I hate you!", "What did you do?!". Isabela goes back to her room, still angry.
Mirabel walks into Isabela's room, "Isa? Heyy.. I know we had our.. issues, but I'm... ready to be a better sister.. to you. So we should just hug it out! Huh?" Mirabel says with just seeing Bruno, telling her that she has to hug Isabela. "Hug it out? Luisa can't lift empanada, Mariano's nose looks like a smashed papaya.. Have you lost your mind!?" Isabela screams. Mirabel and Isabela then have a argument, a argument where your trying to get your sibling out your room, and the other trying to get them to apologize. "I NEVER WANTED TO MARRY HIM, I WAS DOING IT FOR THE FAMILY!" Isabela says, revealing her own secret nobody knew since she always had to be perfect. Which causes a song, when Isabela accidently makes a small cactus. Making Mirabel think she's surprised at her.
"It's not symmetrical or perfect, but it's beautiful. And it's mine!"
Isabela figures her own, true self. She unleashed her true self, "I owe this all to you." Isabela says, hugging Mirabel. Isabela and Mirabel's final movement in the song are holding onto the branches, and swinging around the rooftop. And falling back into the house with flowers under them, as a sheet for them to fall on. "Your a bad influence," Isabela says while they laugh. Abuela walks in, mad on whatever is going on. Mirabel tries to explain herself, and defend Isabela and tell her she wasn't happy. But Abuela fails to understand, screaming at her telling the cracks started with her, Luisa isn't strong because of Mirabel, Isabela is out of control because of Mirabel. Mirabel tells Abuela Isabela will never be perfect enough, which Abuela ignores. Mirabel tries to explain nobody will be perfect enough. Trying to defend Isabela.
(There isn't much to say about the argument, so I'll skip it.)
Casita breaks, leaving it all broken. The Madrigals decide to fix Casita. All of them help each other with the help of the whole village to build Casita back to normal, nor perfect. We see the Madrigal sisters (Isabela, Luisa, Mirabel.) helping each other lift the entrance part. "It's a dream when we work as a team." Isabela says after, meaning to all of them.
